The Hindu girl, a class nine student, had been missing since last Saturday, and her family members were too afraid to speak out due to fear of Kajal Sheikh, the TMC Birbhum district president. Papuri is the native village of TMC Birbhum district president Kajal Sheikh.

The Girl’s Last Seen

According to reports, the girl had gone to study tuition in the nearby Charkal village with her friend. Later, the two of them went to Papuri village and had a meal there. After leaving the meal spot, the friend returned home, but the girl didn’t. The exact location of where they had the meal in Papuri and what happened after they left remains unclear.

The police have confirmed that the recovered body is likely that of the missing girl, but a DNA test is required to confirm the identity. How will the DNA test be done if the body is removed?

A few days ago, Anubrata Mandal was abusing the police officer of Bolpur police station by calling him his mother and wife, which is certainly condemnable, but the allegation is that the police officer was friends with Kajal Sheikh.
