Dasna Conference of Courage and Conviction : Ex-Muslims Unite to Share Experiences of Being Free.

Ex-Muslims will Share Their Stories in a Dasna Maha Sammelan on 5-6 October 2025, Demand Government Support for ‘Ghar Wapsi’ in Hindu Faith.

Upendra Bharti | HENB | Ghaziabad | Sept 7, 2025::   In a landmark event, a group of ex-Muslims gathered at the Purva Muslim Mahasammelan (Ex-Muslim Grand Conference) in Dasna, Ghaziabad, to share their experiences and reasons for leaving Islam. The conference, held on October 5-6, was guided by Mahamandaleshwar Yati Narsimhanand Maharaj of Panchdasnam Juna Akhara.

Notably, in December 2021, Yati Narsinghanand facilitated the conversion of Wasim Rizvi, the former chairman of the Shia Waqf Board, to Sanatan Hinduism through a religious ceremony at the Dasna temple in Ghaziabad. Following the Ghar Wapsi ceremony conducted by Yati Narsinghanand, Wasim Rizvi was renamed Jitendra Narayan Singh Tyagi.

Scientific Contradictions and Human Rights Concerns

The ex-Muslims cited scientific contradictions in the Quran, such as the creation of the earth before stars (Quran 41:9-12) and human origin from a clot of blood (Quran 21:30), as reasons for their departure from Islam. They also expressed concerns about human rights, particularly women’s rights, in Islam. Ex-Muslim women pointed out that several verses and hadiths consider women inferior and second-class citizens.

The release cited the experiences of educated ex-Muslim Imran, who decided to leave Islam on the basis of scientific arguments. According to him:

– The Quran (41:9–12) describes the creation of the earth and the provision of food on it before the formation of stars, which contradicts theories of modern cosmology.

– The Quran (21:30) describes the origin of humans from a clot of blood, while biology makes it clear that life begins with the union of sperm and egg.

– The ban on friendship with non-Muslims in the Quran (3:28) was termed by him as against humanity and social harmony.

Imran raised the question, “If Allah is omniscient, then why are the verses of the Quran so unscientific and contradictory?”

Violation of women’s rights and dignity

The ex-Muslim women who attended the conference expressed serious concerns about the status of women in Islam. They pointed out that several verses and hadiths consider women

inferior and second class:

– Quran (2:282): A woman’s testimony in court is considered half that of a man’s.

– Quran (4:34): A husband is allowed to kill or punish his wife.

– Quran (8:41): Women captured in war (on laundi laun) are considered part of the property (maal-e-ganimat).

– Hadith (Bukhari 3241): According to this hadith, women will be the largest number in Jahannum (hell).

Now, the brave Muslim women collectively question, “How can we accept a religion that considers us inferior, property and punishable from birth?”

Yati Narsinghanand demanded special ministry and security

The guide of the conference, Mahamandaleshwar Yati Narsinghanand ji described these ex-Muslims as ‘brave people standing for the truth’. He demanded from the government, “These former Muslims have been victims of slavery. The government should boost the morale of these young men and women who are returning home. Just like facilities are given to Naxalites on surrender, similarly a separate ministry and rehabilitation programs should be run for them. There should be special provisions for their security and those who harm them should get severe punishment.” Yeti Narasimhanand urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah to protect these people and honor them at the government level. He appealed to the Hindus and said that it is their utmost duty to welcome every person who is free from Islam and bring back their lost brothers and sisters to the Sanatan tradition.

Ex-Muslims’ collective message and appeal for ‘ghar wapsi’

In the press release, the ex-Muslims clarified, “We are not rebels but educated people who have studied Islam deeply for 20-25 years. We have broken its shackles as humanity.” They further appealed to Hindus to support the ‘ghar wapsi’ movement on a large scale so that people can be brought back to the Sanatan tradition.

The ex-Muslims appealed to Hindus to support the ‘ghar wapsi’ movement, which aims to bring people back to the Sanatan tradition. They emphasized that they are not rebels but educated individuals who have studied Islam deeply and have broken its shackles as humanity.

The ensuing conference highlights the complexities of religious identity and the challenges faced by those who choose to leave their faith. The demands for government support and the appeal for ‘ghar wapsi’ underscore the need for a nuanced understanding of the issues involved.
