Srisailam Temple Launches “Dharma Prachara Radham” to Propagate Sanatan Hindu Dharma.

B UIpendran | HENB | Srisailam | Oct 1, 2025:: The Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy temple at Srisailam has introduced a unique initiative to spread Hindu dharma through its “Dharma Prachara Radham,” a decorated truck equipped with audio-visual systems and spiritual exhibitions. This modern chariot will tour areas within 50 km of Srisailam, highlighting the significance of the temple and Hindu traditions.

A Symbol of Devotion

The Dharma Prachara Radham was donated by Balam Sudheer, a Hyderabad-based devotee, and designed as a replica of the Srisailam temple. The chariot features replica idols of Sri Mallikarjuna Swamy and Goddess Bhramaramba Devi, as well as idols of Sakshi Ganapathi, Dakshinamurthy, Ganapathi, and Kumaraswamy. Sudheer attributed his contribution to the divine blessings of the deities, saying, “It was by the grace of Sri Mallikarjuna Swamy and Goddess Bhramaramba that I was able to contribute to such a sacred cause.”

Spreading Dharma

The temple management plans to perform “Leela Kalyanams,” a divine marriage of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, in different areas, involving 20-25 temple officials and priests. The initiative aims to propagate Hindu dharma and showcase the cultural significance of the Srisailam temple. There is a plan to cater to Dharma services up to 100 km, phase by phase.

Reaching Out to Tribal Communities

The temple management is also a keen interest in reaching out to tribal communities in the Nallamala forests. Plans are underway to organize “Shobha Yatras” in Chenchu hamlets, propagating Hindu dharma and promoting cultural exchange.

Community Engagement

The temple has been inviting Chenchus to participate in special pujas and rituals during festivals like Brahmotsavams. This initiative aims to foster a sense of community and promote cultural understanding between the temple and the tribal communities.

The “Dharma Prachara Radham” initiative is a testament to the temple’s commitment to preserving and promoting Hindu culture. As the temple management continues to expand its outreach efforts, it remains to be seen how this initiative will impact the local communities and the broader cultural landscape.

The ‘Dharma Prachara Radham’ initiative by Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy temple management at Srisailam is an exemplary Dharma Service to propagate Sanatan Hindu Dharma. All other temple management boards in the south and north should proceed in the same line as Srisailam to protect Sanatan Hindu Dharma from the perceived threats of Islamist and Evangelist conversion conspiracies.
