Janardan Pujari | HENB | Mathura | Oct 16, 2025:: Bageshwar Dham Peethadhishwar Dhirendra Krishna Shastri has reiterated his commitment to building a grand temple at Krishna Janmabhoomi, the revered birthplace of Bhagwan Krishna in Mathura. During a recent visit to the city on Wednesday, Shastri expressed his devotion, declaring, “Krishna Lala, we will come to build your temple soon.” This statement underscores his unwavering dedication to the cause, which he believes is a long-overdue tribute to the divine lord.
Invitition for Sanatan Hindu Ekta Padyatra
Shastri’s visit to Mathura was aimed at inviting the local populace to join the Shri Bageshwar Balaji, Banke Bihari Milan Sanatan Ekta Padyatra. Scheduled to commence on November 7th in Delhi, the padyatra will see a procession of saints and spiritual leaders walking from Katyayani Temple to Banke Bihari Temple over a span of 10 days. “Ayodhya has passed the Treta Yuga, now it is the turn of the Dwapar Yuga,” Shastri said, alluding to the cyclical nature of time in Hindu cosmology and the anticipated resurgence of Dharma.
Building Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple
During the Akshat Mahotsav, a ceremony marked by the distribution of sacred rice grains, Shastri called upon the residents of Braj to join the Sanatan Ekta Padyatra. He emphasized the importance of unity among Hindus, stating, “We will build a temple for Krishna Lalla in his Janmabhoomi within the law. With folded hands, we will undertake a Save Hindus, Save Sanatan, and Hindu Unity Yatra.” His appeal was not limited to religious sentiments; he also launched a scathing critique of casteism, which he believes has been a significant factor in the downfall of Hindu society. “Bye casteism, we all Hindus are brothers,” he declared, underscoring the need for social reform.
Call for a Hindu Rashtra
The Sanatan Hindu Ekta Padyatra, Shastri explained, is a peaceful march aimed at promoting the values of Sanatan Dharma and protecting the rights and dignity of Hindus. “We are not against anyone; we are only working for Sanatan,” he clarified. The march, he said, seeks to address issues such as the desecration of sacred places, the proliferation of meat and liquor shops in sensitive areas, and the protection of Hindu daughters from atrocities and love jihad. “India should be a Hindu Rashtra,” Shastri asserted, calling for a collective commitment to nationalism and the preservation of Hindu values.
Shastri’s vision for India is unambiguous: a nation where Hindu principles guide governance and where the sanctity of religious and cultural traditions is upheld. “The anti-religious people are after us; they will not rest until we make India a Hindu nation,” he warned, urging Hindus to remain united in the face of adversity. With these words, Shastri reiterated his belief in the transformative power of unity and the potential of the Hindu community to shape the future of the nation.
Critical upon judiciary and politics
During his recent visit to Mathura, Bageshwar Dham Peethadhishwar Dhirendra Krishna Shastri voiced strong criticism against the Indian judiciary, accusing it of displaying an anti-Hindu bias. He specifically pointed to the ban on firecrackers during Diwali, questioning the inconsistency in the rules. “Why are firecrackers allowed on Christmas and New Year’s Eve but not on Diwali?” Shastri asked, highlighting what he perceives as a double standard.
Shastri also targeted various political parties, alleging that they are complicit in the defamation of Sanatan Hindu Dharma. He called for a united stand against what he sees as an attack on Hindu traditions and values.
Call for Hindu Unity
The Bageshwar Dham Peethadhishwar’s call for a Hindu nation has sparked a debate about the role of religion in the governance of the country. However, for Shastri and his supporters, this is a matter of reclaiming their cultural heritage and ensuring that the values of Sanatan Dharma continue to guide India’s path forward. As the Sanatan Ekta Padyatra prepares to take its message to the streets, it remains to be seen how this initiative will resonate with the wider public and whether it will lead to a renewed sense of purpose and unity among Hindus across the country.
Dhirendra Shastri emphasized the importance of Hindu unity, urging the community to bid farewell to casteism. “Bye casteism, we all Hindus are brothers,” he declared, calling for a collective effort to strengthen the Hindu community. His message was clear: unity and solidarity are essential for the preservation and progress of Hindu society.
