Bageshwar Dham’s Sanatan Hindu Ekta Padyatra Kicks Off with Thunderous Reception in Delhi.

Dharma Unity: Over 3 Lakh Devotees Join Bageshwar Dham’s 150Km Sanatan Hindu Ekta Padyatra from Delhi to Vrindavan with a demand of Hindu Rashtra. 

Upendra Bharti | HENB | New Delhi | Nov 7, 2025:: In a grand display of devotion and solidarity, the Sanatan Hindu Ekta Padyatra, led by Bageshwar Dham Peethadhishwar Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, commenced on November 7 from Delhi’s Chhatarpur Shakti Peeth. The event drew an overwhelming crowd of over 3 lakh devotees, who gathered to participate in the 150-kilometer journey to Vrindavan.

On the first day, the procession covered 11 kilometers, with the initial 5 kilometers long procession being particularly notable for the massive turnout. The route was lined with thousands of participants, who walked with devotion, holding the Dharma flag and chanting slogans of unity. Flower showers were organized at over 200 locations, and refreshment stalls were set up by local residents to welcome the marchers.

A Grand Welcome

The padyatra received an enthusiastic welcome across the route, with people standing on rooftops and balconies to greet the procession as it passed by. Many participants expressed their belief that Bageshwar Maharaj could fulfill the vision of a Hindu Rashtra.

Bageshwar Maharaj’s Message

Addressing the gathering, Bageshwar Maharaj emphasized that the journey is not political but spiritual, aimed at carrying forward the cow movement of Dharma Samrat Karpatri Ji Maharaj. He demanded legal provisions for cow protection and an immediate stop to conversion. “This journey is a historic step in preserving Sanatan values,” he declared. The yatra aims to promote Hindu unity, eliminate casteism, regionalism, and linguistic differences.

Dhirendra Shastri chose November 7 as the date to start his Padyatra, a day that marks the anniversary of the 1966 incident when then PM Indira Gandhi ordered the police to open fire on a Cow Protection Rally led by Karpatri Ji Maharaj in Delhi, resulting in the brutal killing of hundreds of Hindu saints and cow devotees.

Prominent Participation

The launch of the padyatra saw participation from prominent saints and Hindutva stalwarts, including Didi Maa Ritambara, Mahamandaleshwar Nawal Kishore Das, Sadhvi Ritambhara, Swami Chidananda Saraswati, Mahant Raju Das, Scriptural storyteller Sudhanshu Maharaj, and Gita Manishi Gyanananda Maharaj. BJP leader Kapil Mishra also joined the padyatra, underscoring the event’s significance.

A Journey of Devotion and Unity

The Sanatan Hindu Ekta Padyatra is expected to conclude on November 17, covering a distance of 150 kilometers. As the participants embark on this spiritual journey, they are spreading a message of unity, devotion, and cultural preservation.
