Upananda Brahmachari | HENB | New Delhi | Nov 15, 2025:: A recent investigation has uncovered a terror module linked to Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) at Al-Falah University and Medical College in Faridabad, Haryana. The module, described as a “white-collar terror ecosystem,” allegedly used educated professionals, including doctors, to carry out terror activities.
Al-Falah:
Al-Falah University, located approximately 27 kilometers from the Haryana-Delhi border in Faridabad’s Dhauj area, is facing intense national scrutiny after a significant cache of explosives was seized and a terror attack at the Red Fort resulted in 12 fatalities and numerous injuries. As part of the ongoing investigation, police teams have conducted multiple visits to the university, questioning around 52 doctors to gather information about the alleged terror module. The focus of the investigation is on Dr. Muzammil Shakeel, Dr. Shaheen Shahid, and Dr. Umar Mohammed, three doctors suspected of being involved in the Jaish-e-Mohammed terror module.
It is being reported that the state government has issued an order to measure the university’s land. The team has also requested all records from the university management. The team will now prepare a complete report and submit it to the government. Action will be taken as per the government’s instructions. A mosque has also been constructed on the university’s land.
It should be noted that four individuals have been arrested from the university so far in a joint operation by the NIA and Jammu and Kashmir Police. These include Dr. Muzammil, Dr. Umar Nabi Butt, Dr. Shine, and Jameel, who oversees HR. Dr. Nisar, a professor at the university, is currently absconding and is being searched for.
Al Falah was established in 1997 as an engineering college. The university is run by the Al Falah Charitable Trust, registered in Okhla, Delhi. The college became a university in 2014 after receiving UGC recognition.
The head of this trust, Jawahar Ahmed Siddiqui, is also the chancellor of the university. The first medical college began in 2019.
Over the past few years, the university has expanded its campus from 30 acres to over 74 acres by purchasing land from local villagers.
“Al-Falah,” an Arabic word meaning success, prosperity, and well-being. But, the recent activities Al-Falah University and Medical College has changed its meaning to Fanaticism and Terrorism.
Key Findings:
-Terror Module Exposure: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) and other security agencies have arrested several doctors and individuals associated with Al-Falah University and Medical College for their alleged involvement in the terror module.
– 22 Professionals Involved: According to reports, 22 professionals, including doctors and engineers, were part of the white-collar Jaish terror module. Lookout alerts have been issued at airports to prevent the accused from fleeing the country.
– Explosives Seizure: Authorities seized approximately 2,900 kilograms of explosive-making substances, including ammonium nitrate, from properties linked to the accused.
– Links to JeM: The investigation revealed that the accused were in touch with JeM handlers based in Pakistan and were planning to carry out multiple blasts in Delhi and other parts of India.
– University’s Involvement: The university’s administration has been criticized for its alleged lack of oversight and potential complicity in the terror activities.
– Accreditation Issues: Al-Falah University is facing scrutiny for allegedly displaying expired and misleading accreditation information.
Demand to Stop the University and Medical College:
Given the severity of the allegations and the potential risks to national security, there is a strong demand to stop Al-Falah University and Medical College and Hospital attached to it. The institution’s alleged involvement in terror activities raises serious concerns about the safety and security of students, faculty, and the wider community.
The NIA investigators have revealed that Al Falah University in Faridabad was allegedly used as a hub for planning terror activities. A specific room in building number 17 within the university premises is believed to have served as the nerve centre for the terror module. According to investigators, three doctors associated with the module would regularly meet in this room to coordinate and plot attacks in Delhi.
The room in question, Room 13 in the boys’ hostel building 17, was reportedly used by Dr. Muzammil Ahmad Ganai and his associates for secret meetings and planning. Dr. Muzammil and Dr. Shaheen Sayeed, both doctors at Al Falah Hospital, were arrested on October 30 and November 10, respectively, for their alleged involvement in the terror module.
Investigators also found a connection between Al Falah University and Dr. Umar Mohammad Nabi, who was the lone occupant of the Hyundai i20 that exploded near the Red Fort. Nabi is presumed to have died in the blast.
Further investigation revealed that a laboratory inside Al-Falah Medical College, located within the university’s campus, contained chemical residues and other materials that suggested it was being used for illicit purposes. “The lab and Room 13 have been sealed, and electronic devices, including pen drives, have been seized and sent for examination,” said an official.
Investigation and Action:
– NIA Investigation: The NIA is leading the investigation into the terror module, and several agencies are working together to unravel the network and identify all those involved.
– ED Probe: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is also investigating the university’s funding and financial transactions to determine if any money laundering or terror financing has taken place.
– Regulatory Action: The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has issued a show-cause notice to the university for displaying expired and misleading accreditation information.
Dangerous Islam:
The alleged involvement of Al-Falah University and Medical College in terror activities is a serious matter that requires immediate attention and action. The demand to stop the university and medical college is driven by concerns about national security, student safety, and the need to prevent any further misuse of educational institutions for terror activities.
The busted Al-Falah white-collar terror module proves that fanaticism in Islam is not related to illiteracy or poverty. Quranic teachings, whether rightly interpreted or wrong, can lead human beings to behave like senseless beasts, destroying everything. When some Muslims engaged in noble medical professions are caught involved in ‘ricin’ poisoning Hindus as ‘Kafirs’ or terror blast to kill innocent people, naturally a question arises about keeping a safe distance from both Islam and Muslims.
Critics argue that a large number of doctors, engineers, administrators, lawyers, and police officers who pass out from Islamic institutions are often indoctrinated to view non-believers as targets, potentially encouraging violence against them in a mission to kill kafirs or harm the infidels.
The pro-Islamist media in India, financially boomed by the Middle East oil rigs, portrays the Muslim community as being in great fear of being bullied by the majority community. In contrast, the majority Hindu population in India lives in fear in reality due to terror threats across the country, exacerbated by political parties’ vote bank appeasement policies.
