Upendra Bharti | HENB | Udaipur | Dec 09, 2025:: In a powerful address to Sanatan devotees and Hindutva followers in Mewar, Mahant Mukesh Nath Maharaj, a prominent spiritual leader of the Gorakhnath Math and Gurubhai of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, emphasized the enduring presence of Hindutva. As the chief disciple of the revered Gorakhnath tradition and a close spiritual affiliate of CM Yogi Adityanath, who is the current Mahant (chief priest) of the GorakhPeeth and Gorakhnath Math, Mahant Mukesh Nath’s words carried significant weight.
During his visit to Mewar, Mahant Mukesh Nath Maharaj engaged in various spiritual and cultural programs, including an interaction with devotees at the Mahakal Temple and visits to the Mahasatiya Hanuman Temple and Bohra Ganeshji Temple. At these events, hundreds of devotees welcomed him warmly, reflecting the deep-rooted cultural values and traditions of the region.
Adivasis as Hindus
Mahant Mukesh Nath firmly stated that Adivasis are an integral part of the Hindu community, and anyone denying this lacks understanding of their culture and traditions. He reiterated this stance in response to reported restrictions on tribal traditions in Telangana, emphasizing that Hindutva encompasses diverse customs and practices.
Hindutva: A Way of Life
The spiritual leader highlighted that Hindutva is not just a term but a way of life that has been resilient in the face of challenges throughout history. Despite attempts to erase its values and culture, Hindutva has continued to thrive, with saints and spiritual leaders emerging to protect and preserve it.
Embracing Change
Speaking about the relevance of Gurukuls in modern times, Mahant Mukesh Nath advised embracing the systems that exist in the present, acknowledging that time keeps changing and never returns. This pragmatic approach underscores the need for adaptation while staying true to core values.

The warm welcome extended to Mahant Mukesh Nath Maharaj in Mewar reflected the region’s rich cultural heritage, said National Organizing Secretary and Working President Jayashankar Rai. The event saw the presence of prominent dignitaries, including National General Secretary Kaushal Paliwal, Dr. Rao Bahadur Singh, and Youth Wing National President Rahul Bohra.
