From Hajipur, Pravin Togadia Calls for Nationwide Network of Hanuman Chalisa Centres.

‘Hanuman Chalisa Kendra in Every Village’: AHP Chief Pravin Togadia Urges Hindu Empowerment During Hajipur Visit in Bihar.

Upendra Bharti | HENB | Patna | March 11, 2026:: Antar Rashtriya Hindu Parishad (AHP) national president Pravin Togadia has announced an ambitious initiative to establish Hanuman Chalisa Centres in every village across India, aiming to strengthen unity and spiritual engagement within the Hindu community. The announcement was made during his recent visit to Hajipur in Bihar, where he addressed supporters and local residents about the objectives of the campaign.

According to Togadia, the proposed centres—referred to as Hanuman Chalisa Kendras—will serve as community spaces where villagers can gather regularly for the collective recitation of the Hanuman Chalisa, a revered Hindu devotional hymn dedicated to Shri Hanuman Ji. The recitations are planned to take place every Tuesday and Saturday, days traditionally associated with Hanuman worship in many parts of India. Togadia said the initiative is intended to promote unity, awareness, empowerment, and spiritual strength among Hindus at the grassroots level.

He emphasized that the programme is envisioned on a nationwide scale, with organisers aiming to establish a centre in every village in the country. According to Togadia, such centres could help build stronger community networks while encouraging religious and cultural participation among local populations.

During his visit, Togadia also spoke about the political and developmental landscape in Bihar. He praised the efforts of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, noting that initiatives taken by the state government have contributed to Bihar’s development. Togadia expressed the view that Nitish Kumar’s upcoming role in the Rajya Sabha could help bring additional resources and funding for the state, potentially accelerating development projects.

In an interaction with Dainik Bhaskar, a Hindi-language daily newspaper, Togadia commented on the broader ideological landscape in India. He stated that Hindutva ideology is continuing to gain momentum across the country, and suggested that it could play a role in promoting peace and harmony at a global level.

Togadia also addressed questions about international developments, particularly tensions involving Israel, the United States, and Iran. He said that such conflicts are unlikely to have a significant negative impact on India, while reiterating his call for strengthening Hindu society domestically. He urged supporters to focus on the effective establishment and operation of Hanuman Chalisa Kendras in villages as a way to foster community solidarity and cultural awareness leading to Hindu Empowerment.

The proposal has sparked discussion among political observers and community groups about the potential social, cultural, and organisational impact of creating such centres nationwide. Supporters say the initiative could strengthen community bonds and preserve religious traditions, while critics and analysts note that it may also intersect with ongoing debates around religion and politics in public life.

If implemented on the scale envisioned by its organisers, the Hanuman Chalisa Centre initiative would represent one of the largest grassroots religious mobilisation efforts in recent years, potentially reaching tens of thousands of villages across India.
