Minor raped, murdered in Dehra Dun by Sadist Muslim

In a gruesome incident reported from Kashipur, in the Udhamsingh Nagar district, a six-year-old girl named Shabnam of the Maheshpura locality was allegedly raped and murdered by a Muslim resident of the same locality. The body of Shabnam was found from the banks of Dhela river on Tuesday morning.

According to information, Shabnam had been missing since Saturday evening when she had stepped out of her house to purchase biscuits from a neighbouring shop. It was on Tuesday morning that some children saw stray dogs digging out the corpse of a girl from the sands on the bank of Dhela river. The matter was reported to the police and the girl was identified as Shabnam.

The police has arrested one Shaukat Ali, alias Lalla, on the charges of rape and murder. He had allegedly lured away the child to the river bank on the pretext of getting her some sweets and had buried her after raping and killing her. The police says that he is prone to consumption of alcohol and drug abuse. He works as a waiter in an eatery.

It is learnt that he had made a young boy a drug addict after sexually abusing him. This boy used to bring drugs for him and it is through this boy that the police was able to nab him.

During interrogation, the accused told police that he took away the girl to a nearby jungle and raped her. Later, he killed the girl, and hid her body near Dhela river.

The incident has sent shock waves among residents of the town, who reacted violently and gave vent to their anger by blocking traffic and disrupting the Republic Day celebrations.

A 14-year-old Hindu Dalit girl was gang raped and killed in Uttar Pradesh’s Muzaffarnagar district by the sadist Islamists. The two Muslim men involved in the crime have been arrested, police said Friday.

The incident took place Thursday evening in Shahpur village of Muzaffarnagar, about 350 km from Lucknow.

“Two Muslim friends Salim and Kalim – both residents of Shahpur village - abducted the Hindu girl while she was returning from the fields and raped her at a secluded place. Later, they strangulated the girl to death,” Deputy Superintendent of Police S.K. Shukla told IANS.

“Both the men, who are in their mid 20s, have confessed to the crime. They were nabbed on the outskirts of Shahpur village late Thursday,” he added.

As the semi-naked body of the 14-year-old girl was recovered from the fields Thursday evening, a large number of villagers, mostly from the Dalit community, staged demonstration at the police station of the area, demanding arrest of the men involved in the incident.

While carrying out the protest, villagers also scuffled with police and tried to damage their vehicles.

“In wake of the protests by the members of Dalit communities, additional security has been deployed in the village. We don’t want to take any chance,” Superintendent of Police (rural) Raju Babu told reporters.

SC to hear Swamy’s plea over Ayodhya idols darshan

New Delhi, Jan 29 (PTI) The Supreme Court today agreed to hear Janata Party chief Subramanian Swamy who has alleged that authorities in Ayodhya have put unreasonable restrictions on worshipping of Lord Rama in the temple at the disputed site.

A Bench headed by Chief Justice K G Balakrishnan allowed the application filed by Swamy to be impleaded as a party in the matter.

The court posted the case after six weeks asking the parties to file their affidavits.

During the brief hearing, Swamy submitted that irrespective of the final outcome relating to the title deed dispute pending in the Allahabad High Court, the authorities should ensure adequate arrangement for devotees to have a ‘darshan’ of the idols. Denial of the same was violative of their fundamental rights, he said.

Report by Fakir Balaji, Hampi (Karnataka), Jan 27, 2010 : Thousands of people descended on this world renowned heritage site Wednesday to witness the 500th anniversary of the coronation of Krishnadevaraya as emperor of the mighty Vijayanagara kingdom of yore!

Hours before the formal celebrations began in the evening, people used all modes of transport to throng the decked up ruins where a massive stage has been erected to recreate the grandeur of the coronation amid pomp and pageantry befitting the legendary king.

The three-day Hampi Utsav is being held at six venues spread over this 16th century capital of the Vijayanagara empire on the banks of the Tungabhadra river, about 350 km from Bangalore.

“The festival aims to portray the grandeur of the time when Hampi was the capital of Vijayanagara, one of the greatest Hindu kingdoms in India’s medieval history,” Kannada culture director Manu Baligar told IANS at the venue.

“The fest began with rural and adventure sports getting under way at the Kamalapura grounds from 10 a.m. onwards. Sports, including wrestling, kabaddi and weight-lifting, and rock-climbing that were popular during the emperor’s reign are staged to relive the golden times,” he said.

Jagdish Shettar, the state rural development and panchayat raj minister who inaugurated the sports, lamented that youth had forgotten native sports and games due to cricket mania.

“I hope staging sports and other physical activities that were popular during the Krishnadevaraya reign will revive interest among our youth, especially in rural areas,” Shettar said on the occasion.

Goolihatti Shekar, the state youth and sports minister, participated in rock-climbing with about 200 youths.

Finishing touches were given to the main stage, which has been artistically decorated with stone platforms that were the hallmarks of Vijayanagara architecture .

Hundreds of artists from Bangalore, Chennai and Mumbai built a make-shift stage measuring 200 feet wide, 100 feet long and 40 feet high for the cultural extravaganza at the inaugural ceremony.

Noted danseuse Sonal Mansingh, classical vocalist Pandit Jasraj and actress-politician Hema Malini will perform after the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)’s leader of opposition in the Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj launches the fest before sunset.

Union Home Minister P. Chidambaram, Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa, his cabinet colleagues and dignitaries will be present at the three-hour long inaugural event. Art of Living founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar will grace the occasion.

“The present generation has a lot to learn from the golden era of Krishnadevaraya, who ruled the Vijayanagara empire for 21 years from 1509 to 1530,” Baligar pointed out.

A grand procession, comprising about a dozen elephants, a score of camels and 40 horses will precede the inaugural event from ‘Sasivekalu Ganesha’, a giant rock statue of Hindu god Ganesha, to the main venue, which is a mile away.

About 500 folk artists, musicians, drummers, dancers and singers will also form the procession.

Spread over 26 sq km, the Hampi ruins lie in the Deccan heartland of south India, with the Tungabhadra river flowing in the north and rocky hills and boulders on the three other sides.

The windswept hamlet was once the centre of a vibrant, thriving culture that enriched the carved temples and rock-cut magnificence.

Various cultural programmes, including song and dance, and a sound and light show, will recreate the grandeur and glory of the empire over the next two days.

Family recounts last-night chat – Wife asked ASI to wait till morning

As he was a profound supporter of RSS ideology, he tried his best to put her daughter in Saraswati Sishu Mandir successfully. He learnt dedication for work and the punctuality from the RSS Sakha (one hour daily performance) in his teens. And he sacrificed his life for the dignity of his assigned duties. But it is a great surprise to every locals that no men from RSS or the authorities of Sishu Mandir reached Sanat’s home to give a solace to the bereaved family of Ghoses.
“Sanat Ghosh’s wife recounted the last conversation she had with him last night and lamented why she hadn’t implored him enough to conduct the raid in the morning with more men.

The assistant sub-inspector of police had called up his wife Mita around 11pm yesterday(Saturday, 24.01.2010). He said he was going to raid a house in a Ratua village. Mita who stays at the police lines here with the couple’s daughter had asked him not to enter the village at the dead of night with so few men.

“It cannot be helped, the number of policemen at the thana is, too, inadequate,” Ghosh told her before leaving the Ratua police station.

“If only I had pleaded enough. I cannot forgive myself,” said Mita surrounded by neighbours.

“I am going on a raid. You have dinner and go to bed I will call you in the morning,” Mita quoted Ghosh as saying. “When I asked him who else were accompanying him, he told me. I asked him why he had home guards and the NVF (and not constables) with him, he told me he had no other alternative as there was inadequate force at the police station,” Mita said.

She said her husband was totally devoted to his duty and paid scant attention to household affairs. “His work was his priority, when I tried to pull him up, he used to say that at his age what else could he do? Now I am left with our 10-year-old daughter all by myself. We were supposed to join him in Ratua next month. All those plans are now shattered.”

The couple’s daughter is a Class V student of Saraswati Sishu Mandir.

Ghosh’s younger brother, Swadhin Ghosh, arrived this morning from their ancestral home in Kardaha in Tapan, South Dinajpur. Swadhin, a high school teacher in Tapan, stays there with their ageing parents and his wife.

“Our parents had struggled financially all along. When my brother joined the police in 1997, he used to supplement the family income,” Swadhin said.

Additional police superintendent of Malda Kalyan Mukherjee remembered Ghosh as the most courageous and responsible among the ASIs in the district police force. “He could be very acceptable to the public,” Mukherjee said.

When confronted with the information that the NVF personnel had rifles that allegedly did not work, Malda police chief Bhuban Mondol said: “The police fired one round. Ghosh did not get the chance to touch his revolver, so the bullet must have been fired by the other policemen. So how can you say that the rifles did not work? We are investigating into what exactly took place.” Senior officers said the role of those accompanying Ghosh was being probed.

The police chief said three years ago, the family of a youth had filed an abduction complaint against 48-year-old Ansarul, his wife Mamtaz Bagum and four sons Sheikh Ibrail, Shiekh Rasel, Shiekh Kayes and Shiekh Ayesh, and three others. They had complained that the youth from a village in Manikchak had been lured away with the promise of a job in Delhi by Ansarul and his family and had gone missing since then.

“The police had been trying to track down Ansarul for sometime. Ghosh had got the news that Ansarul had turned up in Chandpur and had gone to arrest him,” Mondol said.

Early this morning, enraged villagers ransacked Ansarul’s house and set it on fire. A former Congress panchayat pradhan of the area, Abdul Mannan, said: “The police came looking for Ansarul regularly and the family had earlier been chased out of villages in Manikchak and Ratua.”

The police handed over Ghosh’s body to his family after a post-mortem and a guard of honour.”

From a very reliable source it is known that Sk. Ansarul has been operating a racket of trafficking along with some suspected activitivism in favour of Islamic Fundamental Organisations in the border district areas with his full home team of Mamtaz Begum (wife), and four sons Sheikh Ibrail, Shiekh Rasel, Shiekh Kayes and Shiekh Ayesh. As Ansarul was a Ex-Army man, he always tried to grab the situation with the help of his pervious designation. It has also been surfaced that Ansarul supplied a huge number bullets to the Muslim goons of the area from an unknown source. Ansarul had a suspected connection with Jagroto Muslim Bangla Dal (JMB Party) which is connected with a plan to divide West Bengal on communal basis.

As per the statement of Ibrahim Khan, a sitting Congress Panchayet member of the village and the Ex-Prodhan of the concerned Panchayet, Abdul Mannan – “Ansarul is a very dangerous type of man. Nobody dare to mix with him or his family members”

The affairs in details definately struck the concerned to the matter of posting of Muslims in Army and Police, as no army or police training can help to change these Muslim Fundamentalists from the clutch of obstinate religiosity and devout anti-socialism.

Historical Shetaleshwar Bhairav temple opens after two decades in Srinagar

Srinagar, Jan.20 :The Basant Panchmi was celebrated in the Shetaleshwar Bhairav temple here, after after a gap of more than two decades.

The temple, which reopened today on 20th Jan, was closed down in 1990 after the eruption of  Islamic militancy in the Kashmir valley.

The Shetaleshwar Bhairav temple, located on the banks of Jehlum river in the old Srinagar city, was thrown open here on Wednesday after about two decades for devotees, on the occasion of Basant Panchmi.

The last mela of Basant Panchi was held in 1990, only a dozen pandits participated as others had migrated to other parts of the country because of  Islamic violence here.

Hundreds of Kashmiri Pandits gathered in this temple and prayed for peace and communal harmony in the Jammu and Kashmir State. The Shiva Abhisek and the Vedic Havan were the main attractions of the entire ceremony and rituals performed here.

The Kashmiri Pandits on the occasion, thanked all for their support and help for the opening of this temple, which also used to be a center of community activities two decades ago.

Kashmiri Pandit Sangarsh Samiti (KPSS) had initiated the renovation and cleaning work of the temple of at Sheetal Nath Habba Kadal, which remained closed after the insurgency broke down in Kashmir valley and forced Kashmiri Pandits to migrate from their homes to the other States of the country.

The temple was partially damaged due to fire set by the  Islamic militants.

Of the 585 temples in valley, shutdown by the militants, only 37 are functional at present of which 23 have been reopened in the last few years.

Hundreds of temples,  were closed after the mass migration of the Kashmiri pandits from here under the Islamic threat and separatist movement in early 90s and these were handed over to the local Muslims as care-taker under Govt. planning and honorarium to those Muslims without considering any Hindu rights or Hindu sanctity.

Kashmiri Pandits, however, hoped that with the help of the locals the rest of the temples would also be restored soon.

The temples are being reopened by those Kashmiri Pandits, who did not migrate and remained in the valley with their Muslim brothers despite the turmoil of militancy in the past. (ANI)

Non-migrant Kashmiri Pandits rue govt apathy

Nearly 3,000 Kashmiri Pandits living in the valley are facing an uncertain future. “We have suffered a lot living in Kashmir while those who migrated two decades ago have been getting the support of the government at different levels”, said TN Ganjoo, chairman of the Kashmiri Pandit Sangarsh Samiti (KPSS) on the occasion of reopening of Shri Sheetal Bhairav Mandir, Habba Kadal, here, recently.

The number of KPs living in different pockets across the valley is stated to be around 2,800, according to a census conducted by the KPSS. Their number was estimated at around 17,000 during early militancy when the then Pandit leader HN Wanchoo taken up the issue of the welfare of the community. The continued violence prompted several others to move out of the valley for employment opportunities and education.

“The leaders talk about secular character. We have kept it alive”, said Ganjoo, a retired teacher of Hindi from the University of Kashmir. “Those who migrated to Jammu or other parts of the state got support from the government, but those living here have suffered a lot along with the majority community,” he added.

He pointed out that it was difficult for members of the community to get a ration ticket “as if we are not residents of this place”. “I have to prove myself that I am a resident of this place because we cease to be in government records. We do not even figure in the list of migrants in Jammu or elsewhere”, he said.

As a result, the educated youth of the community are not getting job opportunities in the government sector, he and his colleagues opined. There are around 250 educated youth waiting to get jobs with least opportunities in Kashmir. “These young people prefer to move out of the valley to earn their livelihood”, said another Kashmiri Pandit.

Ganjoo said its leaders had been meeting various political leaders and putting forth the issues and problems but no attention was being given.

Sanjay K Tickoo, president of the KPSS, said the Apex Committee on KPs constituted by the government had assured that 600 jobs would be reserved in the new package for the non-migrant Pandits living in the valley, but these were denied. The Central Government had announced a package of 6,000 jobs to the KPs as part of their rehabilitation.

The KPSS has also been impressing upon the Central and state governments to protect their “identity” i.e. ancient temples etc in the valley. “The step-motherly treatment has forced us to take all socio-religious centres along with their moveable and immoveable property under the KPSS,” Tickoo stated.

US ‘stamps’ on Hindu deities spark debate

Seven ‘stamps’ issued by a private company in the United States depicting Hindu gods and goddesses as well as the Sai Baba (of Shridi) has stoked a controversy with claims and counter claims regarding whether they actually are postage stamps.

For keeps: These ‘stamps’ have been welcomed by Hindu organisations. While the company behind the products has said they can be used as valid US postage stamps, apparently through a system that allows private firms to issue stamps with popular images on them, the stamps do not find any mention in the official US Postal Service (USPS) catalogue.

Hindu organisations in the US have welcomed the issuance of the ‘stamps’, carrying images of Sri Krishna, Shiva-Parvathi, Sai Baba, Murugan, Lord Venkateshwara, Vinayaka (Ganesh) and Lakshmi, but online debates are arguing whether they are ‘real’ postage stamps or not. Atlanta-based company USA-Postage.com, which has issued the ‘stamps’, says they are valid postage stamps.

“Usa-postage.com allows customers to put their favourite digital images on valid US postage. The high-quality, adhesive-backed postage is produced using advanced printing technology within a short timeframe,” the company says.

The ‘stamps’ have been customised for the Indian community in America and it is for the first time ‘real’ US postage is depicting the “exclusive designs” of deities, organisations like Hindu Janajagruti Samiti have claimed.

The ‘stamps’, priced at 44 cents each, can also be bought on a commemorative sheet priced at $18.99. “We are proud to serve the Indian community in USA with postage that reflects its culture, heritage and religious beliefs,” USA-Postage.com, which targets small businesses, home offices and individuals in the Indian community in the country, has said.

    • Yoga guru Baba Ramdev is facing threat to his life and intelligence agencies are keeping a close watch on his security.

    Alarmed by a spate of emails, letters and independent feedback that pointed to the ever growing threats to his life, Baba Ramdev has informed the Home Ministry and intelligence agencies that he could be targeted by Islamic militant groups and multinational agencies.

    “Yes, Baba has informed the Government about the threats to his life,” says Bala Krishna, a close associate of the Yoga guru.

    Talking to The Pioneer over phone, Bala Krishna said IB sleuths have been visiting the Patanjali Yogpeeth at Haridwar and trying to assess the nature of threats. “They have met the guru and discussed the whole issue of threats and security with him. We feel that Baba’s security must be upgraded,” Bala Krishna said.

    The man who has revolutionised yoga teaching and taken the Indian tradition of medicine and cure to different corners of the world, has been provided Y-category security that involves protection by nine policemen.

    Sources said that Baba has specifically identified two potential threats; one from Islamic militant groups, and the second from MNCs. Baba is reported to have told IB sleuths and officials that based on personal knowledge and feedback received from his well-wishers, he apprehends that he was on the hit list of Islamic groups for preaching religious tolerance and communal amity.

    At the same time, he has expressed fears that several MNCs could be keen to see him eliminated because his preaching of ‘swadeshi’ and campaign to avoid harmful consumer goods produced by these multinationals.

    Baba has been in the centre of many controversies in the past. He has repeatedly lashed out against colas and advised the people to use them as toilet cleaners. His advocacy of Indian medicine and his claim that he could cure AIDS and cancer with yoga and pranayam has also won him many detractors.

    Talking about threats from extremist outfits, Bal Krishna said, “Baba’s thrust on reaching out to even the Muslims has angered several fanatical elements. They think he is a kafir who should be eliminated for teaching yoga to the Muslims.”

    Bala Krishna added that Baba’s campaign against corruption has also earned him many enemies. A section of people are threatened by him, and they have every reason to eliminate him. We have repeatedly drawn the attention of the Government to the threats, but adequate steps have not been taken to protect him.”

    Bal Krishna said that ‘hate’ emails and letters could have been dismissed as handiworks of ‘cranks’, but independent inputs from different sources have suggested that certain elements were actively plotting to eliminate Baba.

    “We hope that the Government will take the threat seriously and act accordingly by upgrading his security cover,” Bal Krishna said.

    Calcutta High Court legalized marriage of minor Hindu girls by Muslims. Shame to the civil society. Anti Hindu Force in Hon’ble Calcutta High Court ??

    CALCUTTA HIGH COURT AGAIN TAKES ANTI HINDU  STAND TO PROMOTE ISLAMOFASCIST ACTIVITIES.

    Inexplicable are Calcutta High Court’s verdicts.

    Again a minor Hindu girl and a Muslim boy of 22 years eloped. When the case has been moved in the Division Bench of Calcutta High Court comprising Hon’ble Justice Pinaki Ghosh and Justice Prasenjit Mandal, they told, according to media report, that they are not worried about the age of the girl, because the marriage was held under Muslim Law. Its proof also has been produced in the court. Hence they are satisfied. The Hon’ble Judges ordered to present the boy and the girl to the court. The Judges only want to see how they are, and they want to hear from the girl about her mental condition.

    Here the boy is Seikh Aajit Ali, 22, and the girl is Moumita Chakraborty. Both are resident of two neighboring villages under Daspur P.S. of West Midnapur district. According to Idrish Ali, advocate of Aajit Ali, the age of the girl is 19. But according to the parents of the girl, their daughter is minor in age. [Ref. – Anandabazar Patrika (p.-4), 16.01.2010]

    The advocate will try to save his client, here Seikh Aajit Ali, it is understandable. But strange is the stance of the Hon’ble Judges. They are satisfied that the marriage has been solemnized under Muslim Marriage Act. Hence, age of the girl is no bar.

    Funny. How a Hindu girl can marry under Muslim Act? Has she has been converted to Islam? If she has been converted to Islam, how can she do this without proper consent of her legal guardian if she is a minor? In the case of her conversion to Islam before marriage, those who have converted her has committed a culpable offence by converting a minor without the consent of her parents. Why didn’t the Honorable court take cognizance of this offence? If there is no bar for converting a minor boy or girl, then a boy of 9 years or a girl of 8 years can easily be duped and converted by unscrupulous elements. Does our Constitution permit this? We are no legal experts. But, two recent verdicts of Calcutta High Court (the other was delivered on 16.12.10 in the case of Sahidul) will destroy the Hindu Society throughout India.

    If these verdicts are within the ambit of our Constitution, then this Constitution is dangerously anti-Hindu. Then we should have no respect for this Constitution. Then we, the Hindus need a separate Hindu Law for us and to protect ourselves. And if the Hon’ble Judges exceeded the limit of the Constitution, then it will be suspected that they are playing in the hands of anti Hindu forces, may be Jehadi forces. After the Justice Dinakaran case and several other cases of impropriety on behalf of some Judges, the Judges are no longer holy cows, they are not above scrutiny.

    All the well wishers of Hindu Society should take a serious note of these anti Hindu verdicts of Calcutta High Court.

    Anita can’t be disowned, She is our Daughter and shall ever be

    Where are we heading to? This sentence at the very outset may astound you a good deal. Well, before going to any further, let’s check out some readily available facts.

    Ever since Islam stepped into the realm of Bengal, forceful conversion of Hindus has been one of the most preferred ploys of the Muslim zealots to make the whole community kowtow. Throughout the Muslim hegemony and 19th century, it was in full swing and gained new momentum with the onset of the 20th century backed by several doctrines. It has been unabated in both erstwhile East Pakistan and contemporary Bangladesh but the same malicious campaign is being witnessed in the Indian state of Bengal too, thanks to the tacit understanding between the pseudo-secular sections and Islamic fundamentalist forces and certainly the uncanny silence of the culpable democratic society.

    What is more striking, even the Hon’ble Calcutta High Court, considered as the highest form of judiciary in the state, is corroborating the same spiteful intents. What else can be said if we look at the strange development of the case of Ms Anita Ray?

    Ms Anita Ray (aged 15) and Shahidul got married only after she was misled by him. Anita, at the behest of Shahidul, ran from her paternal residence, got converted into Islam and married the venomous guy.

    Mr. Suvendu Ray (Anita’s father) got infuriated and with the help of police got hold of the estranged daughter only on 20th October, six days after the couple ran away.

    From that period Shahidul was absconding and even though he appealed to the lower court for bail in advance, it was rejected altogether. Strangely enough, yesterday Calcutta High Court has sanctioned the same citing that marriage of women under 15 years is lawful under the Muslim Marriage Act, unlike Hindus. [ Ref : Ananda Bazar Patrika, (page - 7)17.12.09]

    What does this lead to? Does the court wish for to affirm that any such act is glorious? Does it want to convey the message that Muslim society is omnipotent and what it does is just? Before that, Anita, at the time of conversion, was of 15 years old only. How can a minor be converted?

    It’s definite that the Ray family didn’t consent or respond favorably to the proposal, not to speak of Anita, a minor girl who can’t decide on any such crucial issue, in accordance with Indian Penal Code. What shall the High Court say on this? Is it not illegal to convert a minor as per Indian Constitution?

    What can you say then? This is one of the gravest conspiracies known hitherto and must be trounced, forget about remaining indoors and continue to doggone or wish harm upon Shahidul. Without a shred of doubt, he has been backed by the considerable section of Muslims in close proximity, may be there is the involvement of Calcutta section as well.

    The line of battlefield has been drawn already and we are taking all types of measures to make the heinous conspiracy bite the dust. Be it legal or……………..

    Gangasagar to Haridwar : Transition to Salvation.

    As I went to Gangasagar Makar Samkranti Mela on 14th, I could not update this blog-site timely from there as I was overwhelmed with one of this greatest confluence of Hindus from every corners of India and abroad. This never ending process of quenching thirst of spirituality and self-realization, Hindus of all section of life meet here on Makar Samkranti for a holy dip in Gangasagar every year. As per Hindu convention supported by Purans, the Yatra (journey) to Amarnath, Darshan (see at a sight) of  Vaishnomata(Devi) and Snana (bathing ) in Gangasagar on Makar Samkranti are the specific, exclusive and mandatory to some extent. The religious Hindus are always interested to perform these rituals to complete their possible pilgrimage for emancipation and the salvation of individual and the society. The Purna Kumbha Mela of Haridwar has also a great importance in Hindu Dharmik Life.

    This year around 4 lakhs Hindus came to Gangasagar to fulfill their desire to take a holy dip in the Sagar Sangam i.e. confluence of river Ganges to the Bay of Bengal. More than 500 different Mutths, religious organisations, non-Govt. organisations participated in the Mela along with Govt. wings to extend their services many ways for a grand success of GANGASAGAR MELA, 2010.

    Returning from Gangasagar to my Ashram, I got Makar Samkranti message through email from my compatriot and Commander-in-Chief of Hindu Samhati, respected Tapan kumar Ghosh. I would like to forward this message to every viewer of this blog-site. The message goes as below :

    Friends:

    I convey my Best Wishes to all on the auspicious day of Makar Sankranti.

    This is a day of Festival for the Hindus. Our Great Forefathers, long ago, started to observe this day as ‘Auspicious’ to give some message to the larger society. That Message was of change and of consolidation. Change for the Better and Consolidation for Strength.

    In Nature, this day indicates the change of cosmic configurations. This day, the Sun God enters the ‘Makar Rashi’, its journey from South to North starts. Hence it starts to give more light, more energy to the creation from this day. This is a change in Nature. So, Humankind, too, taking lesson from Nature, should strive for more light in the area of knowledge and more energy in social activities. Like in nature, there should be a change in society, change in the right direction, change for the better.

    This day brings the message to the Humanity to abandon its inertia. Particularly Hindu Society is suffering from deep rooted inertia since the days of its slavery. It resulted in killer passivity. We must get rid of it. This is the day when we confer to get rid of this killer passivity.

    That’s why, our forefathers started the ritual/tradition of ‘Makar-Snan’ or ‘Sankranti-Snan’ (Holy Bath), to bring people out from the comfort oftheir homes, to face the cold of winter and to take a ritual bath in the ice cold waters, to condition the people to be indifferent to hardships and face adversity boldly. Simultaneously, to take a long journey to mingle with others at Gangasagar or Kumbh. This creates socialintegration and consolidation. This is our way of creating Unity, without sacrificing one’s speciality or uniqueness. The whole world comes to see this unique Unity in Diversity in our Kumbh or Gangasagar.

    Those persons who are unable to make this long journey on health ground or financial constraints, are instructed to take a bath in nearest river or a specific pond nearby. That river or that pond is considered to be the sacred Ganga this day. You must come out from the comforts of your home, you must mingle with others, you must feel that you are a part of the larger society, you must face the difficulties of nature, and you must strive for change, the change for the better. This is the message of this Auspicious Day of Makar-Sankranti, which permeates through ages from our great forefathers through the sacred traditions of our great religion.

    The Gangasagar Mela was ended with a peaceful and successful way under general consideration except a major street accident between a public bus and a lorry which tolled 7 lives and injured some persons. But under a serious introspection, this Mela denotes no success for Hindus as it is killing the Hindu fervour of the Mela to a large extent and always injuring the Hindu sentiments by compelling the Hindus for Pilgrimage Tax ( read Jijiah Tax ) and many other escalated hidden charges extruded from the common Hindu pilgrims rampantly.  The story is untold.

    First of all we must know the level of extrusion of money form the Hindu pilgrims for Gangasagar. There is the imposition of Pilgrim Tax of Rs. 5/- from all Hindu Pilgrims by the CPIM Govt. of West Bengal as a new Jijiah, perhaps inspired by Aurangzeb. The great Trinamool leader Mamata Banerjee, Central Railway Minister takes another Rs. 3/- from the Hindu pilgrims and the common Hindus journey over a fare of Rs. 16/- in the Mela time from the terminal stations like Sealdah, Diamond Harbour, Kakdwip, Laxmikantapur, Namkhana etc. This most communal Rly. Minister declared the wave out the Extra Rly. Charges from the Gangasagar Pilgrims and shaded crocodile tears for the Hindu pilgrims for Pilgrim Tax imposed by W.B. State Govt. and opposed it loudly.

    No, this is not the story of extrusion of hard earned money from the poor and farmer-lobour-worker class Hindu pilgrims along with other Hindus as a natural justice shredded by the Communist conspirator of Bengal. From Kolkata to Lot-8 (the terminal point in the mainland to take a short voyage to reach the Gangasagar island) the normal Bus fare is Rs. 30/-. In Mela time they charge Rs. 60/- per head. The vessel fare of normal Rs. 6.50/- is charged as Rs. 40/- per head this time. And the bus fare from Kachuberia to Mela ground they take Rs. 30/- per head instead of  normal fare of Rs.13/- only. Can we imagine that we pay Rs.5+(60+40+30) X 2 (to and fro) = Rs. 265/- in Mela time instead of (30+6.5+13) X 2 = Rs. 93/- in normal time. As such, the Communists collect extra Rs. 172 /- from per head Hindu Pilgrim in the Gangasagar Mela time. And from 500000 Hindu pilgrims this year they collected Rs. 8,60,00,000/- in the name infrastructure and maintenance of Gangasagar Mela. Yes, this is the reality in India that Govt. extrudes  10 crores from Hindu Pilgrims in shape of Pilgrim Tax and others. And they give subsidy of 30 crores for Haj pilgrims. Nobody tells this truth.

    Yes, the Gangasagar Mela loosing its Hindu fervour gradually under a hidden Islamic conspiracy. We do not know that the surroundings of Gangasagar Mela is covered by a 80% Muslim population and they control the Mela in many respects. The abundance of liquor, meat, chicken, blue films, human flesh trade in Mela premises in the Mela time are totally controlled by some Muslim politicians and anti-socials lead by Sk. Ismail, a notorious criminal and ex Panchayet Samiti Shavapati of Sagar. Ismail has a strong link-up with the CPIM and the Islamic Fundamental groups. More over Ismail arranged Muslim habitation in the Mela premises under the camouflage of some NGOs, which is strictly prohibited.

    Hindus rarely bother about all these and the total population of Hindus in Gangasagar island is decreasing day by day. In last three decades Hindu population is decreased by 5% (appx.) and the Muslims are increased by 5% Appx. as per Govt. records. But the reality tells us something else. In 2008, June the Islamofascists in Gangasagar tried a second Godhra by ablazing  200 Hindu pilgrims over a trifling quarrels between two groups.

    This year I met Pujjaya Jagadguru Shankaracharya of Gobardhan Peeth (Puri), Swami Nischalanandaji Swaraswati, his holiness categorically urged an unification of VHP, RSS and other Hindu Organisation to combat the evil forces against Hindu society.  His divinity demanded a total ban on cow slaughter in India and vehemently opposed the Pilgrim Tax in Gangasagar. Pujjaya Swamiji urged an intensive development of Gangasgar island maintaining its importance as a Hindu Pilgrim Place. I gave him the copies of SAMHATI SAMVAD a monthly organ ( in Bengali language) of HINDU SAMHATI and tried to brief the persecution and struggle of Hindus in West Bengal. Swamiji expressed his pleasure for this due endevour. Swamiji expects more and more participation of local Bengali people in the the various movements initiated by his grace under Govardhan Peeth.

    In other occasions, I met the saints of Sanatan Dharma Sabha, Pandit Madhusudan Shastri of Arya Samaj, Acahryas of ISKCON to discuss the day to day constraints of religious life of Hindus including the general reluctance for Hindu consciousness and organisation. Everybody denounce the matter of Pilgrim Tax in Gangasagar and the anti-religious trend being pampered in the Gangasagar Mela. From his forum, Pt Madhusudan Shastri conveyed his full support to Hindu Samhati and hope a joint movement to abolish Pilgrim Tax from Gangasagar.

    It is perceived in Gangasagar that the Hindus are in a transition to strive hard for their struggle for existence. In the changed situation of increasing persecution and spreading Jihadi activities, Hindus are forced to be in action leaving all inertia. This is a good sign to restore all the essential powers to fight against the Ashura. The Hindu Gurus, Acharyas, Saints, Leaders should come forward to guide the uniting Hindu force under a common minimum programme of DHARMA RAKSHA, RASHTRA RAKSHA, MANVATA RAKSHA.

    The Gangasagar Mela is ended now. But the Purna Kumbha Mela started at Haridwar by this time. The unfinished work in Gangasagar must be completed in Haridwar at any cost. The Dharma Samsad, Akhara Parishad, Other Hindu Forums should jointly make a strategy to save Hindu Dharma, Sanatana Dharma, Arya Dharma, Bharat Rashtra in this critical and challenging situation. We must win as we believe, ”JATO DHARMASTATO JAYA” (Where there is Dharma, there is Win). We believe in ”SATYAMEBA JAYATE, NANRITAM” ( Truth triumphs, not the un-truth). This is the real story of Transition to Salvation !! Hari Aum !!! Namah Shivay !!!!

    Kolkata Resists Muslim Aggression. Hindu Women performed Arati in open road to stop road-show Namaz by outsider Muslims in Burrabazar.


    TMC District President Ashok Jha sacked by Mamata Banerjee to appease the Islamists over an illegal and unjustified extension of a dilapidated and almost abandoned Mosque.

    There is a small dilapidated building in Burrabazar area of Kolkata. It was once owned by a Muslims before 1947. Presently there is no Muslim house in the locality. About 20 years back some Muslims came and requested local Hindus that they want to offer Namaz there every Friday. Hindus granted their appeal. Not only that, local Hindu businessmen helped them to remodeling it as a Mosque providing them stone and marble as donation. Only 10-12 Muslims used to come there every Friday and offer Namaz. There was no disturbance, no problem. In fact Hindus protect the so called Mosque throughout the time. Despite the fact that space is extremely costly in this area as this Burrabazar is business capital of entire Eastern India, that religious place of Muslims was never encroached by the local businessmen.

    But, they had an eye on it. Since last one year Muslims tried to make illegal construction on the roof of the building. Naturally local residents gave objection because it would block the windows of the neighboring households. One of the adjacent building is of Sri Ashok Jha who was the President of Trinamool Congress of Burrabazar District till six day back. He too gave objection as his windows also would be blocked by the illegal construction. But, Muslims tried repeatedly. Hence Ashok Jha prayed to Judicial Court and got injunction upon the illegal construction. Court also ordered the Police to Impose section 144 of Cr PC under which any gathering in the area is prohibited.

    Defying all these Court Orders, Muslims again put a tin shed over the roof of the building. Despite complaining, Police took no action. By this time the local people formed a forum named Rabindra Sarani Muhalla Committee under the leadership of Ashok Jha.. This committee collected mass signature and campaigned against this illegal construction because the local Hindus became apprehensive about the sinister design of the Muslims to expand their area of domination throughout the area.

    Getting stiff resistance from Hindu populace and Ashok Jha, Muslims sought help from the infamous Imam Barkati of Tipu Sultan Masjid, Kolkata. Barkati informed to Mamata Banerjee and complained against Ashok Jha. Mamata Banerjee is ever ready and more than eager to please Muslims. So she ordered Jha to stop the agitation. Jha tried to explain the actual situation and local sentiment. But Mamata is already convinced what to do. She sacked Ashok Jha instantly from the post of District President of TMC and conveyed the decision by TMC MLA Dinesh Bajaj, as reports came in.

    On 6th January, the members of Rabindra Sarani Muhalla Committee under the leadership of Ashok Jha removed the tin shed from the roof of the building. Muslims made a hue and cry and spread a rumor that the Mosque has been broken by Hindus. On the Same day afternoon, TMC MLA Dinesh Bajaj visited the spot and told the Muslims to go ahead with the construction and that he would protect them.
    .
    In this situation Ashok Jha with his followers started fast unto death from 7th January morning against the unlawful activities of the Muslims. 8th January was Friday. Tension was palpable in the area. Police posting was there. At 12 noon, about 300 Muslims came by trucks and cars. There was no space inside the building for such a huge crowd. They assembled on the road Rabindra Sarani. Mohalla committee members appealed to the police to disperse them as Sec. 144 was already imposed there. But police took no action. Muslims formed cues, blocked the road and offered Namaz. By this time about 2000 Hindus also gathered there. They did not create any obstruction to the Namaz. But, they too started Bhajan and Arati on the road. Hindu women took part in it in large number. When the Namaz was completed, then Police started action flexing its muscle. Police mercilessly lathicharged upon the Hindus, dispersed them and forcibly arrested Ashok Jha with his wife and 25 Muhalla Committee members. Raju Vajpayee was ruthlessly assaulted  by the police. Police broke his hand mercilessly. He is suffering from severe pain still now. Mr. Ranvir Kumar, Asst. Deputy Commissioner of Police, abused Mrs. Shaila Jha and other members of Maithily Parishad  with filthy languages which is unprintable. The Muslims also blocked the passage of two Ambulances forcefully with the passive help of Police at the time of Namaz covering the road.

    The whole area became tense, all the shops in he busy market place shut down their shutter, local schools declared closure immediately. Police dispersed any mob throughout the day and after who tried to peep into the disputed building. Police ruthlessly crushed any type of protest on behalf of the Hindus.
    .
    No political party or any of their leaders came to visit the spot and lend support to the Hindus, although all parties and each and every leader of those parties collect money from the businessmen of this Burrabazar area. Hindu Samhati leaders visited the spot, talked to the wife of Ashok Jha and his followers, assured support to them for the cause. Sri Jha and others were released in mid night.

    The situation of Burrabazar area is speedily deteriorated scince last Assembly election in 2005, when the most communal and criminal Mohammed Shorab was elected from Burrabazar Constituency in the ticket of RJD, with the support of CPIM. Since then Shorab, a small time fruit seller, calls the shot in the area. Now, he captures the ownership of all the prime location which are being transferred. Moreover, the Marwaris or the local businessmen go to his ‘Durbar’ for sorting out their disputes or internal matters. Mohammed Shorab takes huge amount of money from these people for his service, i.e. utilizing the influence of his muscle power or underworld strength.
    .
    The Muslim dominated areas of Kolutola, Zakaria Street, Kalabagan Basti are situated near Burrabazar and Nakhoda Masjid, the largest Mosque of Kolkata too is nearby. So, Muslims are very much eager to capture the business district of the entire eastern India. Fortunately, this business community (mainly Marwaris) and the laborers of the area are not so called Seculars, as they are not of Bengali origin. Perhaps, their intellect and rationale have not been shattered/jeopardized/confused by the oft repeated hymn, “ Jato Mat Tato Path.”
    .
    But , they are now being to compelled to surrender to the brute force of Muslims and their gang-leader Mohamed Shorab. The ruling Party CPIM although extracts money from this businessmen, but they pretend to be anti-Marwari. For example, for long time the educational Boards of Marxist govt, print question papers for Board Examination in Bengali, English and Urdu. But not in Hindi, although a large number of Hindi speaking students, most of whom are children of poor labour class, such as Jute mill Laborers, Tea garden laborers, etc. Everybody knows that majority portion of Muslims of West Bengal, who live in the rural areas, do not know Urdu at all. Only a very small portion of Urdu speaking Muslims live in Kolkata and suburbs, most them are Bihari Muslims. But only to appease the Fundamentalist sentiment of the Muslims, all these misdeeds have been done by the communists, resulting in breaking the morale of Non Bengali People and moral boost up of fundamentalist Muslims.

    Earlier, this business community i.e. Marwaris were used to be prey of the Marxsists, now the same people are being squeezed and persecuted by the Muslims goons.

    As in Assam, the internal conflict between the Assamese and the Bengalis ultimately weakened the Hindu Society and resulted in Muslim domination ( now 7 districts out of 23 in Assam have become Muslim majority), in West Bengal too, the Marwari – Bengali difference may create the same condition here. Here both Bengali and Non Bengali Hindu communities should take lesson from the situation of Assam and should work together to resist growing Islamisation of the State.

    At the time of discussion between  Mrs. Shaila Jha, wife of Sri Ashok Jha and Samhati Vice President U Brahmachari  & State Secretariat Member J K Mitra , Mrs. Jha said: “for the last 30 years or more there was no tension over this mosques and the Moulavi of this Mosque and the Mosque itself were saved by the local Hindus at the time of turmoil in 6th December, 1992 when many temples were destroyed by the Muslims heinously”. She categorically said that ” Vijay Upadhaya of the State Samajwadi Party and his notorious gang men and Dinesh Bajaj, the Local TMC MLA are trying to add fuel to the fire of communal politics, keeping their eyes only to Muslim Vote Bank.” Hindu Samhati leaders assured all possible helps to the victims of the situation arisen out of the conspiracy of some sections of fundamental and obstinate religious and political leaders from all quarters.

    Mrs. Jha bravely lead the Arati and Bhajan on the road and gave courage to the depressed Hindus as a lioness to resist the outsider Muslims.

    Except some Hindi News papers, no Bengali or English print-media covered the matter anyway. But the Urdu media is fomenting the Muslim Mind in this respect very dangerously.

    Jehadi threats are looming upon Hindu Pilgrimage at Ganga Sagar.

    High security and red alert to check the Islamofascist in “Gangasagar Mela” could not restrain the Hindu pilgrimage never anyway.

    As the Islamists and Maoists nexus declared the possible blast in this greatest Hindu Convergence in the holy confluence of river Ganga in its end point at Gangasagar island in south 24 district of West Bengal in India, the security forces took the charge of the areas to protect the safety and security of the pilgrimages came wide before the occasion to be  started on and from 14th January this year.

    Though this year of 2010 includes Purna Kumbha Mela at Haridwar and another Kumbha Mela at Tishur Mutth in the Decan and consequently the Hindu pilgrimages would be distributed in different Holy places in India within a short span of time, an estimated Five Lakhs of pilgrimages are expected in Makar Sankranti Mela at Ganga Sagar in 2010, this time.

    As per Home Ministry of India source, the Maoists are right to attack upon the Kumbha Melas and various Jehadi Groups are preparing to attack upon the prominent Hindu shrines, temples and gatherings to spread a fear psychosis upon the commoners. In this connection the Jehadi attack upon the Gangasagar Mela is not denied from any end in practical threat. Previously it is  authenticated that the Maoists are strategically getting help from both the Christian and Islamic fundamentalists to weaken the Hindu strength in India for the last three years.

    In India, unfortunately, the Hindus are compelled to pay ‘Tirtha Kar’ – Pilgrimage Tax (as Jijiah Tax in Mughal period) for their pilgrimage in Gangasagar. This is imposed by the State authority with a sanction of their Central counterpart, whereas the Muslims are given Haj subsidy, procuring the revenue from the Hindu citizens.

    It is learnt that the concerned District Council Chairperson Shamima Sheikh and District Magistrate Mohammed Khalil Ahamed are very rigid to extrude this pilgrimage tax over 20 crores from the Hindus for incurring the various expenditure for arranging the Mela infrastructures.

    It is also reported that the Muslims are gradually increasing their numbers in this island (Gangasagar Island) aspiring a demographic change and some Muslims groups are also collecting booty from the visiting Hindu tourists by force in the name of erecting Muslim tomb or holding Islamic functions.

    In 2008 a Muslim mob lead by Sk. Ismail attacked a visiting Hindu group, came for their work-shop, so that no Hindu organisation may spread their activities to resist the Islamofascist design in Gangasagar.

    Anyway, the present Jehadi threat perception prevails in Gangasagar creating a high tension in each level.

    Hindu Temple Burnt, Kali Icon Desecrated and Vandalized in Basirhat, West Bengal by Suspected Sadist Islamists.

    33 year old Kali Temple Attacked and Burnt; Kali murthi stripped off and personal parts torched.

    At the late hours of 16th December, 2009 some unknown miscreants (suspected to be Islamists) entered the 33 year old Kali temple of Kankra village of Kachua Panchayet, under Basirhat Police Station in North 24 Parganas district, the icon of Mother Kali was stripped off by them and they burnt the temple. Before leaving the temple, the miscreants even tied the throat of the stone made murthi of the Goddess with a thick rope. The vagina of the idol was fired with flambeau. Keeping in view to the nature of the crime and mixed population of the area, one can easily understand that no Hindu can do such a heinous and sacrireligious deed. The finger of suspicion is definitely pointed to the Muslim community.

    The village of Kachua is a popular pilgrimage place for the famous temple of renowned saint Sri Loknath Brahamachari. Hundreds of thousands of devotees visit this this Temple throughout the year. In this area where the Hindus have become a minority, perhaps the next target is this Loknath Temple.

    Hindus became extremely aggrieved for this desecration of their temple and murthi. All Hindus of the village cutting across party lines jointly put a roadblock and demonstrated at Basirhat Police Station. At the time of demonstration, local Communit Party of India (CPI) MLA Narayan Mukherjee tried to divert the issue saying that the desecration of the murthi(icon) and temple must have been a deed of a mentally imbalanced person. But the Hindus rejected the idea. Police assured the Hindus that they will book the culprit in some days. But till now no culprit has been arrested.

    A few days before, the ornaments of the Kali murthi (icon) and other valuables of the temple were robbed similarly. People lodged complaints to the police station. That case is still unresolved.

    Basirhat sub-division in West Bengal is border area with Bangladesh. It has become an open ground for Jehadi (Islamist) terrorists. The whole area of Basirhat Police Station became Muslim majority due to unabated illegal Muslim Infiltration from Bangladesh. The illegal activities and atrocities upon Hindus have increased simultaneously. The scale of torture upon Hindus has sharply increased in recent times. The desecration of the sacred Kali temple is the latest example. The aggrieved Hindus demonstrated in front of the local police station and blocked the roads for hours. Communal tension rose in the area and RAF(special police force) was deployed to control the situation.

    Later the image(icon) of the Mother Kali was sanctified through due rituals and now being worshiped again by the villagers under strict vigil. High tension still prevails in the areas adjacent. Some Hindu activist groups of Bengal visited the spot. They reacted for a revenge as the sources reflected.
