Intelligence Bureau warns of a possible ISIS like fidayeen attack on PM Residence, Parliament

Manoj Gupta, CNN-IBN | New Delhi | 3rd Feb 2015:: The Intelligence agencies fear a fidayeen attack by ISIS like modules on 7 Race Course Road, the official residence of the Prime Minister and the Parliament building in New Delhi.

The Delhi Police and other central paramilitary forces have been put on high alert. Heavy deployment of the security forces have been made at all sensitive installations in the national capital.

According to Intelligence Bureau (IB) sources, the alert is specific in nature and some fidayeens are already in Delhi to carry out a planned terror strike.

नई दुनिया  | नई दिल्ली  । ३ फेब्रुयारी २०१५ ::  देश की खुफिया एजेंसी आईबी ने प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी पर आतंकी हमले का एक नया अलर्ट जारी किया है। इसके अनुसार आतंकी प्रधानमंत्री आवास पर फिदायीन हमले कर सकते हैं। आईबी ने केंद्रीय एजेंसियों और दिल्ली पुलिस को प्रधानमंत्री के सरकारी आवास सात रेसकोर्स रोड, संसद भवन और दिल्ली के कुछ अन्य महत्वपूर्ण स्थलों पर हमले का अलर्ट जारी किया है।

सूत्रों के अनुसार, आईबी ने इस बात की आशंका जताई है कि आतंकी संगठन दुनियाभर में इस्लामिक स्टेट के मुकाबले में अपनी जमीन खो रहे हैं। ऐसे में आतंकी संगठन अपना वजूद दिखाने के लिए आतंकी गतिविधि को अंजाम दे सकते हैं। आईबी के अलर्ट को सुरक्षा एजेंसियों ने गंभीरता से लिया है। इसका एक कारण 23 फरवरी से संसद का बजट सत्र शुरू होना भी है।
