Majority Hindus rely upon RSS’s version that Mother Teresa had big Christian agenda above her social work.
High Majority of Hindus believe Dr Mohan Bhagwat’s statement on the matter ‘Teresa’ that she had a mission to spread Christianity under the mask of social service. So, they don’t believe any funny revelation of Pope Francis or the fake propaganda of New York Times.
Upananda Brahmachari | HENB | New Delhi | 25 Feb 2015:: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Dr. Mohan Rao Bhagwat’s comments on Mother Teresa have sensitized the common people about the evangelical menace of Christianity, as well as a huge uproar across the political and media circle.
Speaking at a function organised by NGO ‘Apna Ghar’ near Bharatpur in Rajasthan, on Sunday, the RSS chief said, “Mother Teresa’s service would have been good. But it used to have one objective, to convert the person, who was being served, into a Christian.” Dr. Bhagwat was speaking in the function on the ideals of Selfless ‘Seva’ (unconditional offering of service) in Indian context which is completely different from the corporate and business concept of Evangelic expansionism through Churches and its affiliates.
The RSS Chief inaugurated ‘Mahila Sadan’ and ‘Sishu Bal Grah’ in village Bajhera, near 8 kms from here, where in the NGO Apna Ghar started variouis welfare activities for helpless women and children.
But, only the little statement of RSS Chief on the matter ‘Teresa’ hit the hornet’s nest in Congress, AAP, New York Times and even in Vatican itself.
“The Holy See doesn’t wish to comment on political turn of events in any country. The Blessed Mother Teresa is a beacon of hope for the poor and downtrodden. Her life has been an inspiration for people across the world,” a Vatican spokesman was quoted as saying by Times Now TV channel. Vatican’s comment came after Bhagwat statement as cited above. Anyway, statement from Pope Francis is still awaited.
Indian Congress leader Sachin Pilot, while criticising the statement by Bhagwat, said: “By giving these kind of statements, they (the RSS) are trying to create a religious divide. Mother Teresa comes from which religion does not matter, what matters most is the service she provided to the poor.”
Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convenor Arvind Kejriwal strongly objected to Bhagwat’s objectionable comments on Mother Teresa. Kehri tweeted, “I worked wid Mother Teresa for a few months at Nirmal Hriday ashram in Kolkata. She was a noble soul. Pl spare her.” [Yes, we know also Kejri’s Magsaysay wining thread!]
Compiling all these from loyal sources, the Great New York Times covered the matter in its pro Christian way, “Hindu Leader Is Criticized for Views on Mother Teresa”. But, it was a concoction of truth as major Hindus relied on Dr Mohan Bhagwat’s statement on the matter ‘Teresa’ that she had a mission to spread Christianity under the mask of social service. So, they didn’t believe any funny revelation of Pope Francis, if any or the fake propaganda of New York Times.
But, the NYT skipped the Indian pulse against the Christian conversion agents and their menace ridiculously.
Shiv Sena’s Marathi daily “Saamana” has endorsed RSS chief’s remark against Mother Teresa made by Mohan Bhagwat saying that Bhagwat had ‘spoken the bitter truth’ and needed to be ‘congratulated’ for articulating that her ‘real motive was to convert people to Christianity’.
“If Muslims converted by the sword, missionaries used money and in the name of service,” said Saamna’s editorial column.
Not only that many Indian scholars of Indian origin and the foreign counterparts supported Dr. Bhagwat on Teresa and vehemently attacked the missionary menace in India.
An erstwhile mainstream French journalist and an Indian resident Indologist, François Gautier questions, 1)What did Mother Teresa really stand for? and 2) Why do some Indians such as Navin Chawla, Prannoy Roy or Arvind Kejriwal, defend her so ardently?
In his article ‘Exploding the Mother Teresa Myth‘, Gautier conveys, “For the truth is that she stood for the most orthodox Christian conservatism. There is no doubt that ultimately Mother Teresa’s goal was utterly simple: to convert India to Christianity, the only true religion in her eyes.”
In an another article in a very esteemed Hindu portal, Shankhnaad, Rahul Priyadarshi wrote, “Only, the source of money in this case was hundreds of millions in foreign funding as she portrayed India as a poor, starving, and a diseased land to her Western donors who responded by filling her coffers so that she could further the cause of the church.”
But, it is not the unforeseen post mortem of the deadly works of Agnes Gonxha Teresa, she was always in the realm of controversy as she used to like the controversial works like ‘forced conversion’, ‘allowing pain and sufferings as blessings of God to the patients’, ‘discarding abortion and contraceptives’ and so on.
An expert on Teresa, Dr Aroup Chatterjee submitted a Deposition before the committee for beatification/canonization of Mother Teresa: under this covering, “Mother of All Myths“. In this Deposition, Dr Chatterjee pointed out, “Christians in a particular slum have food cards, when hardly any of the poor from the other religions have them. This policy gives the lie to Mother Teresa’s assertions that she treated the poor from all faiths equally. On the issue of bias toward Catholicism, I would also like to tell the Committee that worship inside Mother Teresa’s homes is solely Catholic, and non-Catholic worship is not at all permitted therein.”
But, the Church fed media morons, fundamental Teresa propagators always try to avoid these bitter truth about Hell’s Angel and spreading the most baseless myths about a mysterious woman in her Missionary Position.
Facts remain that these deceitful follower of Teresa don’t accept anyway this truth that Mother Teresa was no saint. She tried her whole life to destroy Hindu faith by mischievous conversion programmes into Christianity.
