Hindu Group wants Delhi roads only after Hindus names, not of Islamic zealots.

Road Signages in Delhi Having Muslim Names defaced by Hindu right wing group saying, ‘won’t tolerate Islamisation’.

HENB | New Delhi | May 16, 2015:: A day after signages of roads named after Muslim personalities and rulers were defaced by Shiv Sena Hindusthan, a right-wing Hindu group, New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) got them tried to clean and repair on Friday. While Shiv Sena Hindustan has claimed responsibility for it, the police have registered an FIR against unknown persons. The The AAP, the ruling party in Delhi NCR today demanded “deterrent action against miscreants belonging to a fringe right wing organisation”.

The party also blamed the Narendra Modi government for encouraging right wing groups who have been “talibanising” the country.

“The right-wing group which dared to do the horrible act undoubtedly draws its power and strength from the BJP led coalition in power. Ever since BJP came to power at centre, several such acts of radical elements hijacking the law and playing moral police have come to the light,” the party said in a statement.

NDMC officials said, “Signages of Safdar Hashmi Marg, Feroz Shah Road, Aurangzeb Road and Akbar Road were blackened. Some signages will have to be replaced. We have lodged an FIR for defacement of property.”

Signages of roads named after Muslim personalities such as Emperor Akbar and Firoz Shah, among others, were found defaced late Wednesday. The names have been blackened and posters of right-wing group — Shiv Sena Hindusthan — were pasted on them.

The posters read, ‘Bharat mein Islamikaran manzoor nahi. Safar mein mushkilen aaye himmat aur badti hai. Koi agar raasta roke toh zaroorat aur bhardti hai. Jai Hind! Jai Bharat! (Islamisation will not be tolerated in India. Our courage only grows when our journey meets difficulties. Our need only grows when our path meets with obstacles)’.

The names of Rajinder Singh (national president), Charan Singh (national general secretary), Dinesh Kumar (national secretary) and Vinay Sonkar (secretary) of Shiv Sena Hindusthan were also found on the posters.

Outfit president Rajinder Singh said around 17 members, in three teams, carried out the “operation” between 11 pm and 1 am on the intervening night of May 13-14.

Asked if the group feared any police action for the defacement, Rajinder said, “Let them file a complaint. If the law of the land finds us guilty, we are ready to face the punishment that violating the law entails. We have not caused any real damage. It was a symbolic protest.

We had written to former PM Manmohan Singh a couple of times, protesting against the use of Muslim names for roads in a country called Hindusthan. All Hindus look up to a leader like our Prime Minister Narendra Modi. We are hopeful that he will pay some heed to our concerns.’

Sonkar said his organisation was a splinter group of the Shiv Sena. “We parted ways with the Shiv Sena because it was too busy and limited to Maharashtra and its activities never ventured beyond the state. We have built our base in around 12 states, including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Delhi. Our Delhi unit has around 1,300 members and we often meet to carry out our nationalist agenda,” he said.

While HENB rang up Sri Rajinder Singh for getting his reaction as the TOI said the present activities of Shiv Sena Hindusthan (SSH) like ‘vandals’, a very cool Rajinder told readily that the TOI groups  are  followers of Mughal and Islamic vandals who tried to destroy Indian culture and heritage brutally.

Claiming responsibility for the act, the SSH Chief said, “We will continue our protest. This was a silent protest against the promotion of Islamic names and culture in the country. These names should be changed. Why are many roads in New Delhi area named after Muslim rulers and leaders, who were invaders or their supporters and destroyers of Indian culture and heritage? We want erase the names of Islamic vandals from the country and also their supporters like TOI and other anti-Hindu media groups.”
