Naxalites again attack in Hindu temple, but never venture towards any Church or Mosque…..

Hindu activist and BJP youth wing leader shot at a temple of Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur by alleged Maoist ultras.

Upendra Bharati | HENB | Raipur | April 5, 2016::  Though the Naxalite never venture to attack in any Church or Mosque, they again stormed a Hindu worship place in a Chhattisgarh temple to kill a Hindu leader to adhere their doctrines as Hindus always belong to Bourgeoisie or Feudal class (enemies of the Communists), but not the Muslims and Christians anyway.

Now, a 27-year-old Hindu activist and BJP youth wing leader was  shot on Saturday at 8 pm and injured allegedly by Naxals at a temple in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur district, the police said. But, after passing of 72 hours, the concerned police authority is yet to nab in this connection of attempts to kill a Hindu leader in a very ghastly manner.

Bijapur district BJYM president Murlikrishna Naidu was shot at by Naxalite ultras in Bhairamgarh town at around 8 pm when he had gone to a temple renowned as Bhairamgarh Durga Mata Temple.

Bijapur Superintendent of Police K L Dhruv said four suspected Maoist rebels armed with country-made guns and sharp-edged weapons stormed the temple and attacked him.

“The ultras fired two bullets from behind which hit him in the shoulder and waist. They then tried to attack him with an axe but some persons present there came to his rescue,” the SP said, adding the rebels then fled the spot.

The officer said prima facie the attack was executed by a small action team of ultras but details will be known only after a probe into the incident is completed.

A native of Bhairmgarh, Naidu is an active leader of the party in the region. He is also close to Chhattisgarh Forest Minister Mahesh Gagda, an MLA from Bijapur constituency. Naidu was an active member of Bajrangdal earlier and he was always attached with ‘Cow protection’ and ‘anti-Love Jihad’ movements.

Naidu was taken to a local hospital immediately from where he was shifted to Jagdalpur district headquarters and was now admitted to a Raipur Hospital for further treatment, Dhruv said.

It is stated that the condition of the attacked Hindu leader is still critical.

Attacking Hindu leaders after entering Hindu worship places, ashrams is not a new thing for the Naxalites so far. Earlier, they shot and hacked to death Swami Laxmananandaji Saraswati and his aides in Swami’s Jalsapeta Ashram  in Odisha in the year 2008. Eight persons including a Maoist leader convicted lifetime for that unbelievable crime scene.
