Mulayam Singh justifies shooting of 16 kar sevaks in Ayodhya for Muslim cause.

Upendra Bharti | Lucknow | Aug 27, 2016::  Mulla Mulayam Singh Yadav is exposed again as a shameless anti-Hindu. Justifying his firing order to the Uttar Pradesh Police that claimed the lives of 16 Hindu kar sevaks in Ayodhya on October 30 and November 02 in 1990, former chief minister Mulayam Singh Yadav on Saturday said had even 30 people been killed for the country’s unity and integrity, it would not have bothered him. His speech reminded us a bloodthirsty Mulayam to attack on Hindu Karsevaks reached Ayodhya on a demand to construct Ramjanmabhoomi temple at an early date. Then Uttar Pradesh CM and Samajwadi (read Namajwadi) Party Chief Mulayam , PM V P Singh of Janta Dal in Center, the then Congress Party Chief Rajiv Gandhi and the Muslims of India all were opposing the movement of Karsevaks with their Ram Temple demand. To check the Hindu movement of unarmed Karsevaks, the then UP Govt Chief ordered the firing at Karsevaks and Hindu pilgrims in Ayodhya only to appease the anti-Ram Mandir Muslims in India. The firing on the sevaks took place when the Ram temple movement, spearheaded by Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), was at its peak.

On the VHP’s call, a lakh of kar sevaks from across the country had assembled in Ayodhya for the construction of a temple at the disputed Ram Janambhoomi-Babri mosque site. Though the official figures of martyred Karsevaks described as 16, VHP sources says it more than 100 as most of the dead karsevaks were thrown in the Sarayu river or otherwise  dumped and destroyed in some unknown destinations by UP police on Oct 30 and Nov 2 in 1990.

Speaking at a book launch function held in Lucknow, the SP supremo, while defending his action, said “We had to fire. When I tried to justify my action, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) members called me the murderer of humanity. If we had not fired at them, imagine what the Muslim population would have thought. Then how would I justify my position as chief minister.”

Now in his public meetings he is defending his action of that killing of Karsevaks in Ayodhya and he is saying that even if 30 Hindus would have got killed during that time, he would have felt proud of his decision. It enriched the trust of Muslims in his party.

In view of the coming Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election the Samajwadi Party Chief and the father of the present UP CM Akhilesh Yadav, once again tried to lure the sizable Muslim voters of the state by saying and justifying his position to kill the Karsevaks to protect the interest of “Babri Structure” and the sticky Muslim demands.

He also said that wherever he went after the Ayodhya incident, he was always attacked by stones and some of them even fired at them. He added that he went to the Lok Sabha to justify his action, but to no avail.

The firing had earned the then UP chief minister the nickname of ‘Mulla Mulayam’.

In January this year, Yadav said the decision to order firing on ‘kar sevaks’ in Ayodhya was “painful” and added that he had had no other option.

“I would not have reconsidered my decision, if more lives would have gone to save the religious place,” he said, when he was questioned in the Parliament by the then leader of opposition Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

Mulayam added he resigned afterwards owing moral responsibility for that action. But never rejected the Muslim appeasement policy for capitalizing the Muslim vote bank in Uttar Pradesh.

However, the Karsevaks again assembled at Ayodhya and vanished the Babri Structure from this world on 6th December, 1992 and burnt the effigies of Mulla Mulayam Singh all over India. In some places they urinated in the pictures of Mulayam.

Now, it is the time to erase  the existence of Namajwadi Party from the map of Uttar Pradesh and vanish the vandals like Mulayam and Akhilesh from the history of Uttar Pradesh.
