Amazon Canada stopped selling ‘Indian Flag Doormat’ after getting ultimatum from angry Indian External Minister Sushma Swaraj.

Though a little bit late, Indian external minister Sushma Swaraj finally took the issue very seriously after feeling the pulse of protesting Indian people aggrieved with the selling of ‘Indian Flag Doormat’ by the e-shopping giant Amazon’s Canadian chapter.

With in a hour, the Canadian unit of Amazon stopped the selling ‘Indian National Flag Doormat‘+ after getting an ultimatum from an angry Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj.

Sushma Swaraj on Wednesday threatened to refuse visas to Amazon officials and withdraw visas already given to Amazon employees in India, if the global e-tailer did not stop selling doormats with the Indian flag on them. “If this is not done forthwith, we will not grant Indian Visa to any Amazon official. The doze really worked.

Swaraj also demanded unconditional apology from Amazon for their misdeeds.

Though any news of written reply or apology from Amazon did not appear in the media, we hope that this must be the last culpability on the part of Amazon authorities who like to offend Indian citizens by violating their sentiments in various means ranging disrespect of Indian flags to degenerating Hindu deities.
