Upendra Bharti | HENB | Mumbai | June 16, 2017::  Veteran Bollywood singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya, known for his pro-Hindu and anti-Pakistan tweets, today said he is associated with Hindu, Hindutva and Hindustan.

The singer, who has taken an anti-Islamist stand on a number of occasions, was to attend the “All India Hindu Convention” today, ongoing at Goa as organised by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, but he gave it a miss due to “unavoidable circumstances”.

“I am always associated with Hindu, Hindutva and Hindustan. I will follow your footsteps, I am always ready to do anything for Hindutva whenever necessary. Jai Hind. Jai Bharat, Vande Mataram.” the 58-year-old said in a video message sent to the organizers of the convention.

Abhijeet had in the past said he gives priority to the nation and patriotism over music.

“Nationalism and Patriotism can’t be mocked or enemies of the nation can’t be tolerated in the name of so called cultural rights, or rights of speech or azadi”, the Bollywood singer conveyed earlier in a trail of JNU students agitation to support Kashmir separatism.
