B Upendran | HENB | Kochi | Aug 8, 2017:: The Ernakulam Central Police have arrested three SDPI Jihadi activists in connection with the attack on the police during a march organised to the Kerala High Court+ in protest against the court order in the Hadiya case, now pending in Supreme Court of India. The protest march was organised by the Muslim Ekopana Samithi on May 29.
The arrested are Ameen Moitheen, of Chittethukudi, Ayiroorpadam, Thrikariyur, Kothamangalam, his brother Noufan Moideen and Niyas Chittethukudi, Ayiroorpadam, Pindimana, of Kothamangalam. The three are the 32nd, 33rd and 34th accused, respectively.
The case against Muslim Ekopana Samithi activists was registered for threatening judges of the High Court, disrupting traffic on Banerji Road, and raising provocative slogans. The activists attempted to prevent the duty of the policemen who tried to block the march. They pelted stones at the police and attacked them with wooden bars.
The most sensitive ‘Hadiya Love Jihad case’ is now pending in the Supreme Court of India.
After hearing its 1st ever ‘love jihad’ case on Aug 5, the Supreme court demanded proof from NIA within 10 days+. The next date of hearing of this case is fixed on Aug 16.
In an unusual case of alleged conversion and marriage at the behest of the Islamic State, a division bench of the Kerala High Court declared on May 24 this year, the wedding of a 24-year-old Hindu woman named Akhila with a Muslim man named Shafin Jahan as void.
The case took a curious turn with allegations that the woman was forcibly converted to Islam by people or group having affiliation to the Islamic State.
The Kerala High Court directed the police to conduct a detailed probe into the suspected forced conversions of Hindu women by groups having links with Islamic State.
Ashokan Mani, an ex-serviceman filed Habeas Corpus petition before the Kerala High Court on January 25 last year, when he found that his daughter Akhila was missing from the campus she studied. Akhila was a student of the Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery course in Salem.
In his petition, Ashokan alleged that his daughter was forcibly converted to Islam and sought the help of the court to find her. Ashokan named two of Akhila’s classmates Jaseena Aboobaker and her sister Faseena – residents of Perinthalmanna – as the persons behind her disappearance from the campus under mysterious circumstances.
The Kerala HC annulled the marraige of Akhila+ alias Aasiya, Adhiya and Hadiya with an alleged IS sympathizer Shafin Jahan and directed the state to return Akhila to her parents.
Being aggrieved the the Jerala HC order, Akhila’s husband, Shafin Jahan, approached the Supreme Court with a request to order the girl’s father to produce her in court.
When Sibal and Jaising kept pressing for a direction for her immediate production before the SC, the bench said, “It is not so simple. Why did Akhila give three names — Aasiya, Adhiya and Hadiya — on three different occasions on affidavits before the HC?+ This is not expected of a 24-year-old. If we need to meet her, we will. But it is a sensitive issue.”
The SC also prima facie shared the HC’s doubts about the “hasty and secretive” marriage of Akhila aka Aasiya (Adhiya, Hadiya) with Shafin Jahan and wanted to know whether there was any criminal case against the husband as referred to by the HC.
Now, when the case is pending in the Supreme Court, the SDPI (Social Democratic Party of India, don’t go for its name, it is a 100% Radical Islamic Party in Southern India), Kerala Muslim Ekopana Samithi, Tamil Nadu Thowheed Jamath’s (TNTJ), Popular Front of India (PFI) and other Jihadi groups are coming together to protest over the proceedings of Hadiya Love Jihad case in Supreme Court in India.
These Islamist groups are now propagating that, “Allah and Muhammad (SAW) combination is the only solution for the world and no court has any power to overrule Quran. Quran has given the rights to enjoy any woman in this world”, as an input received from our Kasargod reporter.
Virtually, the members of radical Muslim organisations of South India are fomenting the common Muslim mass both against the Kerala HC order on Hadiya case and the ongoing proceedings on it in Supreme Court of India.
