Now, Govt must make law to build Ram Mandir, UCC and Family control: Togadia.

Welcoming  Supreme Court’s judgment on triple talaq, VHP leader Dr Togadia demands laws for building of Ram Mandir, Uniform Civil Code and for stringent family control.

Ranjana Tyagi | HENB | Ahmedabad | Aug 23, 2017:: Dr Pravin Togadia, international working president of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) hailed the apex court judgment on triple talaq even as he demanded laws for building of Ram Mandir and for stringent family control.

“Government should pass a law against triple talaq to give justice to Muslim women,” said Togadia adding, “The government should also pass a law for construction of Ram Mandir to ensure justice for Hindus.”

Togadia said he wanted laws on other pressing issues like family control. “In fact, for justice to the nation’s taxpayers, the government should pass a law prohibiting more than two children in a family,” said Togadia adding that laws for implementing a common civil code in the country was required.

Togadia was talking at the sideline of a Hindu meeting at Ahmadabad on Tuesday.

On Sunday, Dr Togadia claimed a Central Law to build Ram Temple at Ayodhya+ when he was addressing the VHP and Bajrang Dal activists in the Akhil Bharatiya Adhiveshan held in Hyderabad.

Togadia said that there was only one way for the construction of the temple at Ayodhya and that way was shown by former Deputy Prime Minister and Union Home Minister Sardar Vallabhai Patel.

“Sardar did not go and touch anybody’s beard and neither had he approached any court. Patel saw to it that the temple was constructed with the help of Union government and Parliament,” said Togadia.The VHP working president said that the judiciary cannot resolve issues relating to  faith and added that it would take another 50 years to get a decision on the temple.

Welcoming the SC order, Vijay Thaker, spokesperson of Gujarat RSS said, “Though it is an internal matter of the Muslim community, every community needs to adopt modern practices and respect equality of women.”
