Against Fatwa on Diwali Aarti, Muslim Women body urges to Close Darul Uloom Deoband.

Muslim Women Organisation demands closure of Darul Uloom Deoband for issuing hateful and ridiculous Fatwas misguiding Muslim youth.

Upendra Bharti | HENB | Varanasi | Oct 22, 2017:: A day after asking Muslims ridiculously not to post any pictures on social media, Darul Uloom Deoband has now issued a new fatwa against a group of Muslim women who performed ‘aarti’ on Diwali in front of the picture of Lord Ram in Varanasi, pronouncing that they can no longer be considered in “Muslim-Umma” if they worship other gods except Allah.

Mufti Mohammad Arshad Farooqui, chairman of the online fatwa department, told TOI, “Islam is a monotheistic religion and there is no room for worshiping plural gods and goddesses. So any Muslim man or woman who worships any other god is not allowed in Islam. And those women have definitely done something wrong that they should repent by all means.”

The edict comes days after a group of Muslim women performed aarti and dedicated prayers to Lord Rama on the eve of Diwali in Varanasi. The event was organised by Muslim Mahila Foundation and Vishal Bharat Sansthan to promote communal harmony.

Nazneen Ansari, founder president of Muslim Mahila Foundation (MMF), said, “Shri Ram is our ancestor. We can change our name and religion, but how we can change our ancestor? Singing in praise of Lord Ram not only bridges the gap between Hindus and Muslims, but also reflects the generosity of Islam.”

In December 2014, Ansari had also sent a petition to Prime Minister Narendra Modi requesting the construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. She believes that the construction of Ram Mandir would end hatred and strengthen the bond of unity and 

harmony between Hindu and Muslim, and it would be the permanent solution of ending the hatred between the two communities. .Nazneen also translated Hanuman Chalisa in Urdu and is now translating the Ramcharit Manas of Goswami Tulsidas in Urdu+. She is well acclaimed in literary circle for her genuine effort to  translating Hindu religious literature in Urdu version. Nazneen came to news after she burnt effigy of Rohingya Muslims instead of Ravan in Duserrah this year.

Reacting to the Fatwa issued by Darul Uloom Deoband against Diwali Aarti, Nazneen challenged the validity of such ‘hateful and ridiculous’ fatwas and demanded a closure of Darul Uloom Deoband as reflected in a video post in her facebook timeline.

Nazneen told, “In Bharatiya culture one is welcomed through Aarti, Tilak and garlanding. Hence, there is no objection to welcome Lord Ram in the event of Diwali through Aarti.  Ram and Krishna are our ancestors including all Indian Muslims. We have the same DNA of Lord Ram and not matched with any Arab or Mongal people”.

Attacking the Darul Uloom Deoband for all their hateful and ridiculous fatwas, Nazeen branded the Maulanas behind Fatwas are fake, unauthorized and subversive.

“Where do these Maulanas stay when the Muslim women are put under Triple Talaq or tortured by drunkard husbands or when rape and molestation are made by Muslims? Why they don’t issue any Fatwa against those culprits? These Maulans never objected to perform the cremation of the dead bodies of the Muslim Terrorists under Islamic rituals. These Maulanas are fake and misguiding the Muslim youths by giving many hateful Fatwas and for such activities Darul Uloom Deoband must be closed. We are requesting Supreme Court of India and Prime Minister of India to see this matter”, the video footage divulges the stand of Nazeen Ansari.

Going fully with the Constitution of India, Nazneen raised the validity of such Fatwas and told, “We are planning to file case against such Fatwas against constitution”.

In a hard rebuttal to Deoband fatwa Nazneen told HENB, “These Deobandis are giving bad name of Islam. All Religions preach Humanity and Peace. But in the hands of present day Muslim clerics Islam has turned as a Religion of Jihadi Terrorism, Suppression of Women Rights and Hatred to Non-Muslims. I think this is not the right way. If Muslims want respect and dignity of Islam and Muhammad, they must respect Hinduism and Lord Ram in India and must give respect to the women”.
