Padmaavat and the Ugly face of BJP.

Now, BJP is ruling 19 States in India, If the screening of Padmaavat is banned in Rajasthan and Himachal, then why their counterparts in other states are allowing it? 

Upananda Brahmachari | HENB | Haridwar | Jan 10, 2018:: The controversial film Padmaavat, directed by  covertly anti-Hindu and overtly secular Sanjay Leela Bhansali is set to release on January 25th.

The Central Board of Film Certification has cleared Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati after changing its name to Padmaavat after suggesting  some modifications in the script and screen play.

But, keeping the filthy records of Bhansali in mind as cases of “Ram Leela” and “Bajirao Mastani”, the Hindu organisations, specially the Karni Sena are not believing the assurances of Bhansali or the certification of CBFC marked as U/A.

Narrating  ‘Padmaavat is an insult to India’s identity’+, the agitating Karni Sena now warns of ‘Janata curfew’ against release of ‘Padmaavat’+.

The mass support behind the Hindu outfits are seen vibrant in mainly two states Rajasthan and Haryana where the people are overwhelmed with the legend and pride of Padmavati e.i. Rani Padmini as their essential roots of heritage and history.

Consequently, BJP govt in Rajasthan led by CM Vasundhara Raje banned the screening of Padmaavat in the state+, saying ‘her dignity at stake’.

Likewise an Ex ABVP (student wing of RSS) leader and present Himachal Pradesh CM in BJP ticket, Jai Ram Thakur (basically a Rajput -warrior) also banned the controversial film Padmaavat+ in his state.

But, an Ex RSS Pracharak (whole timer), turned a BJP veteran and now CM of Haryana, Manohar Lal Khattar advocated the release of Padmaavat in his state+ as he thought that it would not be right to ban a film after getting censor board certification. Khattar is a Khatri, a caste of traders.

More interestingly, the good friend Bhansali, Devendra Fadnavis, the BJP CM in Maharashtra is caring the release of ‘Padmaavat’ safely in his state and the Great Hindu Face Yogi Adityanath, the BJP CM in Uttar Pradesh has yet to take any decision on the matter.

Here is the question, why a section of patriotic people are demanding the ban of the film Padmaavat?

The answer is simple. The concerned Hindu people are disagreeing the poetical fiction “Padmavat” written by Malik Muhammad Jayasi in 154o which had many derogation of the Rajput pride including the distortion of Historical facts on Rani Padmini. From the point of his communal view, Jayasi wanted to delineate many half truths compiling the grace of Muslim ruler and to cast a bad light on Padmavati in a very subtle way. The pseudo secular Sanjay Bhansali relied upon Padmavat and made his film to hurt the sentiments of millions of people who don’t rely the story of Padmavat.

Hindu outfits led by Karni Sena are protesting the defamation trail of Rani Padmini but obviously BJP is showing there double standard stand as they are not virtually concerned about any defamation of Rani Padmini as such.

If Govt of Rajasthan and Govt of Himachal Pradesh have declared a ban on the Bhansali’s film Padmaavat on the reasoning of Karni Sena and others, what the other seventeen states run by BJP are doing? Why these 17 BJP run states (11 on their own an 6 with other allies) are allowing the release of Padmaavat ignoring the sentiment majority Hindu people? 

Ignoring the demand of majority Hindu people is the practice of Indian politics and BJP’s politics are evolving the spirit of it.

Hence, some BJP states are banning beef and some are promoting it. Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh have banned beef and cow slaughter. BJP run states in Goa, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur have no ban on beef.

In the same way of practice of ignoring Hindu demand, BJP is doing nothing for the construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Rather the party is playing a dirty politics of Ram Temple.

The Padmavaat stand of BJP is the other story of the party indulging in double standard.

Padmaavat has exposed the ugly face of BJP. But, it has a clear message. If Rajput Karni Sena, VHP, Bajrang Dal, Hindu Jagran Manch, Hindusthan Shiv Sena, Sri Ram Sene and all others Hindu organisation start nation wide protest severely against the film Padmavaat, all of the 19 states where BJP in power, will ban the controversial film bowing down to Hindu feet.

Mind one thing, Bhansali is not only the culprit to dare Hindu bashing, BJP’s policy can’t be ignored as it has been helping the personalities like Bhansali for getting the courage to defame Rani Padmini abundantly.

This is the important teaching of Padmaavat propounded by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Thanks to him.
