G Hanumanthappa | HENB | Bengaluru | Dec 4, 2018:: Days after the Karnataka SIT filed the second chargesheet in the Gauri Lankesh Murder Case that mentions involvement of Hindu right-wing outfit Sanatan Sanstha, the organisation has hit out at the Congress accusing it of conspiring against them and Hindutva as well in order to malign its reputation with Hindus.
On Tuesday, in a press conference held in Bengaluru, Sanatan Sanstha national spokesperson Chethan Rajhans rubbished claims that the murderers of rationalist were influenced by the holy text of ‘Kshatra Dharma Sadhana’ published by the Sanstha. He questioned what holy text do Jihadis and terrorists read before committing worst crimes against Humanism?
“Jihadi literature influenced people to kill 23 innocent people in Karnataka. However, Karnataka SIT has not named any of them, even in the Rudresh murder case. On the contrary, they claim that ‘Kshatra Dharma Sadhana’, a book from Sananthan Sanstha has influenced killing of Gauri Lankesh. This book has not been published for over 10 years, then how could the killers be influenced by it? Rajhans ridiculed the modus operandi of Karnataka SIT.
The organisation also claimed that it did not support any political party and which is why they were being targeted.
“This chargesheet shows that efforts are being made to dig out old issue of Hindu Terrorism or Saffron Terrorism and conspiracy to start Malegaon II edition after Malegaon I proved to be a total failure. Although the activists who are arrested in this case belong to various organisations, efforts clearly appear over to target Sanatan Sanstha which propagates Hindu Dharma,” Chetan Rajhans hit out at the investigating agency.
Shri. Chetan Rajhans further said, ”Supreme court, in the case of K.A. Abbas versus the Government of India had clearly stated that motion picture or movie is a more effective medium as compared to print media. Still, no one has ever said that news channels that broadcast programs like ‘Crime Patrol’, films that are depicting scenes of rapes and murders cause serious crimes. These are equated with ‘freedom of expression’. In this situation, concluding that the Holy text which was published by Sanatan Sanstha 15 years ago and is out of print today due to no demand was read would inspire killings. This depicts how low the investigating agencies can stoop to implicate Sanatan Sanstha.
Shri. Chetan Rajhans added, “SIT displayed illegal behaviour by unlawfully arresting innocent devout Hindus, persecuting them inhumanely and denying them the judicial assistance. Similarly, a false information was spread that accused were in possession of a ‘Hitlist’. When nothing came out of it, one of the accused in the case, Parashuram Waghmore was lured with Rs. 25 lakhs if agreed to name Sanatan Sanstha. After this conspiracy also did not succeed, they are spreading the false information everywhere that the killing was committed after reading a Holy text of Sanatan Sanstha. I would like to ask all Investigation Agencies – Sanatan Sanstha is publishing Holy texts since 1995. Thousands of copies of ‘Kshatradharma Sadhana’ were sold; in this situation, how many people killed how many individuals ? The Investigation Agencies should answer this question.
When the MPs and MLAs of various political parties such as Congress, Communist party, Trinamool Congress committed serious crimes such as murders, assistance to Naxals and jihadi terrorists, etc., is the demand to impose a ban on these parties ever made ? However, when there is not a shred of evidence about involvement of Sanatan Sanstha in any case, why is Sanatan Sanstha defamed so much ? The injustice is being done to us with revengeful attitude because we have no support from any political party. As per the dictum ‘Call the dog mad and shoot it’, a conspiracy is hatched to impose a ban on Sanatan Sanstha and stop its mission of Hindutva.
On the press conference, National Spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti Shri. Ramesh Shinde said, “Amol Kale, whom the investigation agency claims the main accused in Gauri Lankesh case, was not in contact with Samiti for the last 10 years. Even before these 10 years, he never held any post of an office-bearer of the Samiti. Similarly, when Dr, Virendrasinh Tawade did not participate in any of the activities of Samiti, he is named as Vice-president by the CBI in its chargesheet. The posts of office-bearers which are not even the part of Samiti’s working are being created, and all are assumed to be activists of Samiti. This smacks of a conspiracy. Even when the members of the Abid Pasha gang (the gang of ruffians which had links with the Jihadi organization Popular Front of India – PFI) had been proved guilty of killing Hindu leaders with hard evidence were not slapped with KCOCA and were helped by the Police to get bail; whereas, the 16 Hindu activists arrested in the Gauri Lankesh murder case who do not have any criminal background have been slapped with KCOCA, which is applicable to ‘organised crimes’. This is extremely unfair and discriminatory. This clearly shows that the Karnataka Government is favouring the Jihadis and selectively subjecting the accused charged with the Gauri Lankesh killing to unfair treatment. This a part of the Congress conspiracy to malign the Hindu organisations.
The Vice President of the Hindu Vidhidnya Parishad, Adv. Amrutesh NP said, “Sanatan Sanstha promotes Hindutva radiantly. Shrimadbhagwad Geeta narrates the way to lead one’s life. Sanatan Sanstha propagates this teaching. Several other spiritual organisations and Saints disseminate Knowledge about ‘Brahmatej’ (Radiance of a Brāhmaṇ); whereas, Sanatan Sanstha teaches ‘Kshatratej’ [Radiance of a Kshatriya (warrior)] along with ‘Brahmatej’. This presents Rajadharma (Code of righteous conduct for rulers) and Kshatradharma (Protecting seekers and destroying evil tendencies) based on shlokas from Ramayan and Mahabharat. The Sanstha’s teachings always emphasise adherence to the Constitution while carrying out all agitations. Sanatan Sanstha has not held any agitation or public meeting without the permission of the Police. Still, a conspiracy is being hatched to defame Sanatan Sanstha which always follows the law. Which book was the source of inspiration for persons like Ajmal Kasab, Abid Pasha of Karnataka ? The Maoists Naxals who have killed thousands of Police and Army personnel had taken inspiration from some another book. Even Gauri Lankesh had great faith in this particular book. What do the investigating agencies have to say about this ? We need to have a debate on whether it is possible to get inspired by a book for killing someone or more people. These so-called ‘intellectuals’ whose services have been hired by the Leftist Mafia are trying to put a veil on this by spreading that Hindu organisations such as Sanatan Sanstha, RSS, Sriram Sene are extremists. These thinkers are so cowardly that they are scared even while naming the books from which the Jihadis and the Maoists draw inspiration. However, we will not back off from spreading the message of the Shrimadbhagwad Geeta just because of their threats. I firmly state that neither the Sanatan Sanstha nor the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti has any role whatsoever in these murders”.
The Karnataka SIT had submitted the first chargesheet in May 2018 after the arrest of KT Naveen Kumar an alleged member of the Hindu Yuva Sena and his subsequent confessions. The arrest of mastermind Amol Kale is said to have given the impetus to the SIT probe as the investigating agency got hold of three diaries that had the ‘hitlist’ along with other publications and literature about the Hindu dharma.
Interrogations revealed that Parashuram Waghmore is said to be the one that pulled the trigger whereas Ganesh Mishkin rode the bike that took them to the spot.
Investigations had revealed that the same murder weapon was used for Gauri as well as MM Kalburgi’s killings. The ballistic reports also revealed that one of the weapons used to eliminate Leftist thinker Govind Pansare was also used to kill Narendra Dabholkar in 2013, thus giving evidence that the murders were somehow connected.
On 23rd November SIT officials submitted a 9235-pages chargesheet at the Principal Civil and Sessions court in Bengaluru. They also asked the court to allow them to investigate further. Two of the 18 accused are still at large.
As per website of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti website, the Sanatan sanstha and Hindu janajagruti Samiti held a Press Conference in Mumbai on Dec 1 and clarified how Malegaon 2 conspiracy was being hatched by implicating Sanatan Sanstha in Gauri Lankesh case Murder Case.
The Press Conference transpired that how investigation agencies were making up several scripts in the killing of Dabholkar and Gauri Lankesh. In the Gauri Lankesh Killing case, Karnataka’s Special Investigation Team (SIT) issued an extremely ‘funny’ press note about submitting additional chargesheet against 18 activists of various devout Hindu organisations. Whereas, the CBI started hurling accusations against Sanatan Sanstha and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti even before submitting the chargesheet itself. Of course, whatever is happening in Karnataka, we will talk about it only during a visit to Karnataka. However, if a review of last 10 years is taken, the ‘Malegaon ・part 1’ hatched by Congress and secularists has totally failed; now, a conspiracy to start ‘Malegaon ・part 2’ appears on the horizon. Although the activists who are arrested in this case belong to various organisations, efforts clearly appear overt to target Sanatan Sanstha by naming it persistently before the media. Such a clear stand was presented by the National Spokesperson of Sanatan Sanstha, Chetan Rajhans. He was speaking in a press conference held at Mumbai Marathi Patrakar Sangh. On the occasion, the National Spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, Ramesh Shinde and National President of Hindu Vidhidnya Parishad Adv. Virendra Ichalkaranjikar were also present.
The CBI, in its application submitted for increasing the period of the Police custody of accused claimed the involvement of Sanatan Sanstha and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti. This is a classic example of how to make an application without making any study because when Kalburgi was killed in 2015, he was shown killed in 2016 while submitting the application; in the medical report of Dr. Dabholkar, it was mentioned the bullet struck the chest and head of Dabholkar, the application mentions that Sachin Andure fired a shot at his abdomen. Since the black deeds of Nandkumar Nayar of CBI had been already exposed by us, Nayar might have hatched the conspiracy out of anger, clarified Adv. Virendra Ichalakaranjikar.

This is nothing but a next effort made after all earlier conspiracies turned out to be unsuccessful. Earlier too, when Sanatan Sanstha exposed ‘Urban Naxalism’ of AniS and its financial scams, the propaganda was spread that it is a false campaign to oppose the Anti-superstition Act.
The propaganda was spread that Sanatan Sanstha leads people astray by hypnotising them; however, when expert hypnotherapists publicly exposed the hollowness of this claim, the campaign was put in cold storage. Those who say Sanatan was involved in Madgaon blasts never say that Sanatan’s Ashram was searched in the case. A truck-load of financial papers of Sanstha were inspected; still, the Court gave a verdict that these are false accusations made up to implicate Sanatan and exonerated everybody. Nobody speaks about it today.
Only on succumbing to the pressure, the investigation agencies arrested Samir Gaikwad in 2015 under the charge that he fired shots at Pansare. Even at that time, we averred before the journalists that he is our seeker, and he is innocent. Today, Samir Gaikwad is granted bail. The High Court has not cancelled the bail, and the Police are not pursuing the case against him. The CBI earlier claimed that Sarang Akolkar and Vinay Pawar fired the shots. Now, they say Sachin Andhure and Sharad Kalaskar fired the shots. Now, killers are being changed, the places on the body where wounds were caused due to bullets are being changed, the dates of killings are being changed. In 2015, we had submitted the proofs of how the CBI officers are hatching a sinister and false conspiracy. The same is being continued on the next page. Therefore, despite the accusations being hurled at us, only time will tell how many of them are true and how many are false, stated National Spokesperson of Sanatan Sanstha Chetan Rajhans.
