Allocate Ayodhya land for Ram temple construction and declare Ram Sethu as National Heritage monument: Dr Subramanian Swamy writes to Modi.

PGuru Media | New Delhi | June 2, 2019:: Raking up the Hindutva agenda, BJP leader Subramanian Swamy on Sunday urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to immediately allot the land for Ram Mandir construction in Ayodhya and declaration of Rama Setu as national heritage. In a detailed letter, he argued that the legal advisors of the Central Government wrongly sought the Supreme Court’s permission to hand over the undisputed land of 67 acres to Ram Janambhumi Nyas Samiti, while the Centre was empowered to decide itself.

“This submission of the Solicitor General was erroneously made on two counts (a) that the Government requires no permission whatsoever of the Supreme Court to hand over the nationalized Ayodhya land and which is in the possession of the Government. By virtue of Article 300A of the Constitution, and numerous case l aw of the Supreme Court on land acquisition, the Union Government has Eminent Domain to take over anybody’s land or property in public interest< said Swamy citing Narasimha Rao Government’s affidavit, pointing out that all parties except Ram Janmabhumi Nyas Samiti had accepted compensation.

“Therefore the Government under the power vested in it by the Constitution can allocate, for any public purpose, to anybody the Ayodhya land (including disputed land) without the permission of the Supreme Court. All that the Government is required, as a courtesy, is to assure the Court that just compensation will be paid to the decided title holder as determined by the Supreme Court. In fact, as a generosity both the parties can be paid compensation if they withdraw their respective appeals in the Supreme Court before adjudication,” said Swamy

In his 22-page long letter and documents to the Prime Minister, Swamy cited the Narasimha Rao Government’s affidavit and Cabinet decision to allot land to Hindu’s if the archeological survey finds the existence of a temple.  He also cited his argument points before the Supreme Court’s mediation panel on the matter. The BJP MP also urged the Prime Minister that the Government must declare Rama Setu as national heritage and declare it before the Supreme Court, where the next hearing is scheduled on July 1. “This project was originally cleared in 2002 by NDA Government under pressure of its DMK ally. On the intervention of late Shri Ashok Singhal, President of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, I was asked to file the writ petition… Subsequently, the Supreme Court granted me a Stay in the matter. After marathon arguments in Court in 2008 for canceling the project, the Union of India agreed to explore an alternative route for Setu Samudram Shipping Canal Project without touching the Rama Setu,” said Swamy detailing the timeline of the case.

“After you become Prime Minister and subsequently in 2018 the Supreme Court was informed when I raised the matter again, that Rama Setu will not be touched; but the issue of making Rama Setu as National Heritage Monument, although according to my information was cleared by the Ministry of Culture, did not come up for approval at the Cabinet level for whatever reason,” said Swamy.

   The present Government is not a Hindu Government. This Government
   is equal to the anti-Hindu Congress secular party, who never had
   respected the Hindu victory over the brutal/criminal invaders of Hindu
   Bharat. Since Maharani Ansuya and Maharaja Purochottam of Paurauv-
   raj at the Yelum river till Maharani Laxmi Bhai of Jhansi the enemies
   were kicked out from Bharat. After independence the political
   parties and there leaders had betrayed Hindus by declaring it a
   secular country with equal rights for the Victors and Losers. Losers
   can’t be made equal to the Victors, because war was needed for it.
   All heritage and the land of Bharat are Hindus, therefore any time
   Sri Ram Ji Mandir can be build. Regrettable is; Hindus won, but
   they have no Hindu Army. The present Armed forces must be trans-
   formed into a Hindu Army, so without delay Hindus can defend its
   heritage. The Supreme Court also must be a Hindu institution.
