Upendra Bharti | HENB | Howrah | June 26, 2019:: Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) workers recited Hanuman Chalisa in West Bengal’s Howrah on a road near Bally Khal on Tuesday. It affected the traffic movement. The BJYM leaders present in the programme told HENB, ” We will continue this reading of Hanuman Chalisa on roads on every Tuesday in different parts of West Bengal until Muslims stop Road Namaj every Friday creating traffic jam and public inconveniences.”
BJYM president of Howrah, OP Singh said, “GT Road and some other main roads are blocked to offer Friday namaz on regular basis. Patients die, people can’t reach office in time. But, WB police under the instruction of CM Mamata Banerjee does not take any action against it. As long as it continues, we’ll recite Hanuman Chalisa on Tuesdays at all main roads near Hanuman Temples.”
While, the WB RSS and VHP kept far behind for the information about the suddenly taken programme of reading Hanuman Chalisa on roads by BJYM members in Howrah, the Sangh Parivar may now show interest about it to start a public movement against public nuisance and traffic jam created so far by the Friday Namaj on roads in many places of West Bengal.
WB BJP president and now MP, Dilip Ghosh told the media, “the appeasement policy of WB CM Mamata Banerjee has inspired a section of Muslim people to break the law in all patterns including illegal Namaj on Roads on every Friday. Now, the public has come down to roads with the recitation of Hanuman Chalisa. Mamata must realize the reality and public sentiment to take proper action to stop illegal Namaj on roads.”
