Shiv Sena- Hindutva inseparable. Sena will not deviate from Hindutva, says Uddhav.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is the all time inspiration for the people of Maharashtra and  Shiv Sena will not deviate from Hindutva:  Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray.

Upendra Bharti | HENB | Mumbai | Dec 1, 2019::  Even as the Shiv Sena formed the government in Maharashtra with ideologically different parties NCP and Congress, chief minister Uddhav Thackeray  on Sunday said that Hindutva ideology is indispensable to Shiv Sena and the party will not leave it anyway. As one can’t separate Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj from Hindutva, in that same way Shiv Sena and Hindutva is inseparable.

“I am still with the ideology of ‘Hindutva’ and won’t ever leave it,” the chief minister said during the state assembly session.

At a press conference earlier this week, former chief minister Devendra Fadnavis had said that Shiv Sena compromised with its core ideology — Hindutva — by joining hands with the Indian Congress (INC) and the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP).

“The Shiv Sena’s Hindutva now rests at the feet of (Congress president) Sonia Gandhi. Everyone is seeing this,” Fadnavis had said.  (Though the later revelation stunted the Indian Nation that Fadanvis took the oath as the shortest term Maharashtra CM also in India with the help of NCP’s Ajit Pawar with a mindset to manage more horses from NCP and Congress stables).

Speaking after BJP’s Devendra Fadnavis’ election as the leader of opposition, Uddhav said he learnt lot of things from the former chief minister.

“I have learnt a lot of things from Devendra Fadvanis and I will always be friends with him. In the past five years, I have never betrayed the government.”

Uddhav took a jibe at Fadnavis over the collapse of the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance after the former refused to accept Sena’s demand for equal power-sharing in the new government. (Amit Shah and Fadanvis never dreamt that the ‘Dadagiri’ of BJP can be swept over by the ‘Gandhigiri’ of Shiv Sena by making a Maharashtra Vikash Aghadi).

“I am a lucky CM because those who opposed me are now with me and those who I was with are now on the opposite side. I am here with my luck and blessings of people. I have never told anyone that I will be coming here but I came,” he said.

Continuing his tirade against the BJP, he said, “I won’t call you (Devendra Fadnavis) an ‘opposition leader’, but I will call you a ‘responsible leader’. If you would have been good to us then, all this (BJP-Shiv Sena split) would have not happened.

After removed from power, Maharashtra BJP started a character assassination of CM Uddhav Thackeray and Shiv Sena as they are not Hindutvawadi anymore.

But, in his first speech as CM in Maharashtra Assembly, Uddhav exhorted that nothing can be possible without Chhatrapati Shivaji in the state and the iconic Hindutva king is all time inspiration for the people of Maharashtra and the patriotic people of the country as well. In its first decision, Uddhav govt sanctioned Rs 20 crore to conserve Shivaji’s capital Raigarh Fort+. Uddhav took his oath as CM in the name of Maharaja Chhatrapati Shivaji in a spectacular oath taking ceremony in Shivaji Park on Nov 28.

BJP lost Maharashtra for the time being. May be it is for a long time. But, what would be BJP’s loss if BJP took the center stage of Shivaji Park on any day before Nov 28 allowing Uddhav as a CM for Two and half years and joined the SS-BJP Ministry and set Devendra Fadanvish as a CM of Maharashtra in the later Two and half years for the sake of Hindutva Unity.

Amit Shah was in a drastic move to attack with horses, but… Sanjay Raut checkmated the king of Amit with pawns!

I am not sure that the present coalition Govt will last longer. How Uddhahva believed in NCP and Congress parties which are against Hinduatwa? In future NCP and Congress may change their attitude towards SS and this Govt may fall.and Uddhav may regret.

Indeed. My own suspicion is that Uddhav Thackeray has been thoroughly outwitted by Amit Shah.

Being effectively the sole opposition in the state means that all political benefit from any blunders committed by this new government accrues to the BJP. Furthermore, BJP can argue that it is the genuine Hindutva party since the Shiv Sena has compromised itself by allying not just with the NCP, but with Congress – a party that is unquestionably anti-Hindu.

As a chess player, Shah knows that sometimes you have to sacrifice a pawn to snare a queen or another high-value piece. I believe that the long-term aim here was to finish off Shiv Sena, and pave the way for a single-party BJP government in Maharastra. Being in opposition for a few months or years may be a small price to pay for obtaining that result.
