Upendra Bharti | HENB | Mumbai | Dec 19, 2019:: Before the release of the Salman Khan’s movie ‘Dabangg3’ on Friday (Dec 20), some objectionable scenes from the dance-song ‘Hood Hood Dabangg’ have been removed as reported. In that song huge humiliation of the Hindu Saints and Gods were made as seen the trailer and video release of the film created a feeling of distress in Hindu society.

In one of the songs as ‘Hud Hud Dabangg Dabangg’ in the Salman Khan,  Sonakshi Sinha, Arbaaz Khan starer movie ‘Dabangg3′; Hindu saints were shown dancing with Salman Khan in an objectionable manner, their jataa (Dreadlocks) left loose on their lap. Some saints were shown playing the guitar in western style of utter disorderliness. Reacting to this, Salman Khan also made a derogatory remark stating that they were not true saints. In one of the scenes in this song, characters like Shri Krishna, Sri Ram and Lord Shiva were shown dancing to the song’s tune, blessing Salman Khan.

It was strongly condemned by many devout Hindu organizations, Akhada Parishad, Sant Samaj and others throughout the country. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti submitted a petition to the Censor Board against the film, however no action was taken by then.

Yesterday (Dec 18), Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) officials told the committee delegation that they had removed the offending footage from the film. Afterwards, Salman Khan Films tweeted+, “We are removing some scenes from the song ‘Hud Hud Dabangg.” Therefore, the decision was made too late to say ‘come late’. According to Shri Ramesh Shinde, “this decision had to be taken only because of the pressure of the united power of Hindus. If someone hurts the religious sentiments of Hindus and to make films, they will have to face such opposition.” He also thanked devout Hindu organizations including Sant Samaj for their support in the protest.

On November 29, the Maharashtra and Chattisgarh state units of Hindu Janjagruti Samiti, had sent a letter to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) seeking removal of a sequence as “it hurts religious sentiments”.

There were so many protests in the social media platforms against the “Hud Hud Dabang’ Song of Dagangg3 as it hurt sentiments of millions of Hindus. In the lead of protest, eminent Hindu interlocutor and Hindu Existence editor, Upananda Brahmachari took his twitter handle to alert Salman Khan Film to remove objectionable scenes from the ‘Hud Hud Dabangg’ song. More over, Brahmachari interacted with CBFC Chairman Prasoon Joshi, I&B Minister Prakash Javdekar and HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank several times to remove the Hindu humiliation in the ‘Hud Hud Dabangg’ dance-song in Dagangg3 film.

In a video statement, Sunil Ghanwat, the state level organizer of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti of Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh further stated, “relying on the statements of the authority and SKF about removal of objectionable scenes from Hud Hud Dabangg, the Bollywood Film Makers must leave their habits to make Films hurting Hindu sentiments in future. If,  other anti-Hindu scenes are seen even in the Dabangg3 movie, Hindus will start protest against it again.”

Update: At latest, Upananda Brahmachari tweeted (Dec 20, 2019), “It is difficult to believe @BeingSalmanKhan. It is heard, #Dabangg3 is full of humiliation of Hindus & Saffron. Different versions of the film despatched in different states. @SKFilmsOfficial is making a Taqiyya to release the film peacefully.“

In the following tweet Brahmachari made an alert as. ” Hindus must keep watch on #Dabangg3 by @SKFilmsOfficial of @BeingSalmanKhan and start immediate protest if anything wrong to hurt Hindus in the film.
