Kolkata: Police complaint filed against Sick Youtuber Roddur Roy for making Tagore songs’ parodies with ‘obscene’ words and polluting Bengal Culture with filthy flow.

Sumita Das | HENB | Kolkata | March 11. 2020:: A teachers’ organization in West Bengal, ‘Paschim Banga Shikshak Aikya Mukta Mancha’,  on Tuesday lodged a complaint with the Beliaghata Police Station in Kolkata against Sick Youtuber Roddur Roy, who composes obnoxious parodies of Rabindranath Tagore’s songs [See video+] using ‘objectionable’ and ‘obscene’ words, as reports came in.

According to reports, members of the teachers’ organization also asked the police to investigate the matter and to take adequate legal actions against Roddur Roy, who has over 200,000 subscribers in his official Youtube channel.

After lodging the complaint, a member of the teachers’ forum said that they will lodge complaints against the Youtuber in more police stations soon in every district of WB.

“The man has been posting these objectionable parodies on his Youtube channel for last few months, but, unfortunately, the state police have not taken any step against him which should have been taken long ago suo motu,” he added.

However, a Kolkata Police official said that they were looking into the matter in the context of getting a formal compliant against Roddur Roy.

Days ago, Rabindra Bharati University (RBU)’s BT Road campus in north Kolkata witnessed a shocking display of cuss words as vulgar Bengali slangs by a group of young students, who were later identified as outsiders, on their bodies, both boys and girls, while celebrating the annual Basanta Utsav (spring festival) inspired by Bengali cultural icon Rabindranath Tagore whose song they lampooned shockingly.

Later, it was learnt that the cuss words used by them were part of Roy’s distorted parody of Tagore’s popular songs.

‘Basanta Utsav’ is held on the RBU’s BT Road campus every year ahead of Holi.

Not, only that the same imitation of Roddur Roy was surfaced among a few girl students of Barlow Girls’ High School in Malda [See video+] and in a boys student packed class room in a Hoogly school.

Hurting by the ulterior nuisance a concerned of civil society have already raised their voice to arrest Roddur Roy for his obscenity in Youtube. But, the State Govt did not take any police action against the perv youtuber. Incidentally, WB CM Mamata Banerjee holds the charge of Police  Minister of the state.

Through a series of tweets, Hindu interlocutor and Hindu Existence Website Editor urged severally WB Governor Jagdeep Dhankar, CM Mamata Banerjee, WB Higher Education Minister Partha Chatterjee, WB Police and Kolkata Police to take initiative to arrest Roddur Roy, yielding no result.  Even complaint against Roy in Beliaghata PS could not restrain the youtuber from the filthy flow in his hugely liked social media platform.

A perverted man, disguised Urban Naxal and a terrible trend setter, Roddur Roy did not only vilified National Poet Rabindranath Tagore, he also hurled slang against Poet Rajanikanta, Atul Prasad, Nazrul Islam and Sukanta Bhattacharya [See video+]. He also attacked President of India, PM Narendra Modi and the Indian Parliamentary system in most abusive languages to provoke others to retaliate against State. Then how can he spare WB CM Mamata Banerjee anyway. Roddur Roy also tried belittling WB CM Mamata Banerjee in many nasty ways.

Experts say, Roddur Roy could be arrested under Section 294 IPC+ (Obscene acts and songs), Section 124A IPC + (Sedition) and Section 67C in The Information Technology Act, 2000.

Believing in his Moxa Culture, Roddur consumes Ganja (Cannabis sativa) in all his video uploads in youtube without any statutory warning. It is a gross violation of Section 5 of COTPA 2003 regulations. Hence, Roy could be grilled much earlier.

Some of the concerned citizen also filed a petition in Change Org to ‘Take down Roddur Roy’s Youtube & Facebook Videos+‘ which also went in vein.

Hind Existence Website Editor, Upananda Brahmachari demanded a strong action against Roy by WB and Kolkata Police which is now under the fuzzy end of the police authority creating unfortunate confusions.

   What we used to call Uttam-Madhyam means a thorough bashing , of the pervert should be the first step before going for legal ones / This is to be learnt from oure Muslim brothers .Chanakya said Men must learn certain qualities from inferior animals even like Crow Dog & donkey . So this Muslim formula of gangsterism (

   Yes,I think Roddur Roy is a pollution to our culture and our country.So according to me Roddur Roy’s social media accounts should be banned and he should be kept away from the public all alone.I think it will a better punishment for him.He must know that Freedom of Speech doesn’t mean to misuse it.
