MP: Hindu Pregnant woman learns of husband’s Muslim identity at hospital, files ‘love jihad’ complaint.

Reba Kulkarni | HENB | Indore | April 5, 2021::  In a shocking incident, a Hindu pregnant woman in Madhya Pradesh has lodged a ‘love jihad’ complaint against her Muslim husband, accusing him of tying the knot with her by faking his identity.

The pregnant woman, in her complaint to Dwarkapuri police, stated that her husband, who is a gym trainer by profession, introduced himself as Gabbar and married her. Recently, she, along with her husband, went to a maternity hospital for medical checkup. The hospital staff asked them to produce their identity cards. When her husband provided his identity card, she came to know that his name was Mustafa. Following this, she approached the police with her complaint against him.

Police register case, arrest accused 

On the basis of the woman’s complaint, the police registered a case against Mustafa under relevant provisions of Madhya Pradesh Dharma Swantantrata Adhiniyam 2020. He has been arrested, according to a report by The Times of India.

Police said that around one year ago, the accused met the complainant at a birthday party. He had allegedly identified himself as Gabbar, and later tied the knot with her, without revealing his real identity, they added.

Meanwhile, right-wing activists, after learning about the case, went to the medical facility. They raised slogans and demanded action against the accused.

Another incident in Uttar Pradesh

In another incident, a 25-year-old private tutor from UP’s Meerut was arrested for the kidnapping of his 18-year-old female student and pressing for illegal religious conversion.

Police said the accused tutor, identified as Amaan, and the girl, a student of Class 12, developed a friendship during the tuition classes. Amaan allegedly asked her to elope with him. He also said that they would get married after she denounces her faith and embraces Islam. When the teenager refused, Amaan allegedly threatened her to kill her brother. Out of fear, she left with him.

Police, after receiving a complaint, from the girl’s parents traced her. The accused was arrested and booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the anti-conversion law in force in the state.

Unfortunately shocking

It is shocking that the Muslims guys under certain plan and strategy to hunt Hindu gals in plotted love truce even in BJP ruled states like Uttar Pardesh and Madhya Pardesh. Though there are stringent laws to prohibit forced conversion through love and marriage in the respective states, the Muslim ‘Love Jihadi’ are seen reckless to enjoy the Hindu girls and women. Such numbers of incidents of ‘love jihad’ are high, but unfortunately under-reported by the way.
