BJP Govt must stop Hindu Temple destruction in Karnataka.

No Church and Mosques are even touched….

Hindus are anxious over Temple demolitions in a BJP regime in Karnataka. BJP MP, Hindu Organisations all are protesting! 

B Upendran | HENB | Mangaluru | Sept 14, 2021:: Though an ‘ancient’ Hindu temple demolition in Nanjangud in Karnataka draws flak from Hindu outfits and  politicians across the  parties, the district administration of Mysuru-Mangaluru region has initiated demolition of places of worship as per a list, since a few days ignoring Hindu sentiments and public protests. It is believed that Uchchagani Aadishakthi Mahadevamma Temple of Nanjangud had its history of at least 500 yrs back.

It is unbelievable that a 500 yrs old Hindu temple was being demolished by an over-enthusiast govt official and his culpable team with bulldozers and JCB in the early morning hours to evade public protest, on the basis of a ‘misinterpreted’ Supreme Court order in a province where a so called Hindutvawadi party BJP is ruling in Karnataka. Yes, a 500 yrs old Hindu temple was razed to ground by the operatives of a BJP Govt to clear illegal encroachment of Govt Lands by a Hindu temple! These rouges of BJP never thought that there was no present system of Govt, laws and judiciary before 500 yrs ago and how did such allegation of ‘encroachment’ came from?

Picking the thread, former Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah of Congress party on Saturday condemned the demolition of the Hindu temple at Nanjangud in Mysuru district and said the BJP government should have consulted the local residents before taking such an action,  ”which has hurt the religious sentiments of the people”.

“The destruction of an ancient temple in Nanjangud is condemnable. Since it was a sensitive issue, the @BJP4Karnataka should have spoken to the local residents, The demolition is done without  the consultation of the people in the region & has hurt the religious sentiments,” Siddaramaiah said in a series of tweets.

But, feeling the heat of Hindu protest, BJP MP from Mysuru-Kodagu(Coorg) Pratap Simha immediately jumped to the field and took the issue BJP CM Basavaraj Bommai and started protest to stop further demolitions of temples with a ‘misinterpretation of SC order‘+.

In a press conference in Mysuru, Simha told, “Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai will intervene and direct the Mysuru District Administration to halt the demolition of religious structures and withdraw its list of 93 structures in public places that are set to be razed. There will be no more demolitions in Mysuru giving the excuse of a Supreme Court  (SC) order.”

But, in the meanwhile many Hindu organisation and activists are anxiously  waiting for further demolitions of Hindu temples all on a sudden while not a single illegal church or  mosques are not touched even.

Rashtriya Hindu Samiti has condemned the district administration for razing several Hindu temples in the city. In a press release, Samiti president Vikas Shastri warned of launching a protest if the operation was not stopped.

On Sept 9th, one Twitter handle in the name of Hindu Mahasabha tweeted+, “Approx 150 Temples demolished across Karnataka in 60 days by  @BJP4Karnataka Govt under the leadership of @CMofKarnataka @BSBommai and @JnanendraAraga — Yesterday again 700 years old temple destroyed by @mysurucitycorp – but all illegal Churches and illegal Mosques are safe”. There may be a bit of exaggeration in this data, but the series of tweets related to it and the pictures of Hindu temple destruction in the Mysuru-Mangaluru region as posted there are worrisome definitely.

Hindus, Hindutva activists, Hindu temples, nothing is safe in the hands of operatives of Jihadis, Evangelists, Secular Radicals  and  Urban Naxal already exist in the Govt system of operation to harm Hindus drastically. Dozens of Hindu activists have been murdered in Karnataka in last ten-twelve years both in Congress and BJP regimes. Now, just a switch over of power from B S Yediyurappa to Basavaraj Bommai in BJP is not giving any good to the Hindus of Karnakata. Hindus are still humiliated in many ways in the form of temple destruction  or others, while BJP in power in Karnataka.

   not builders. Reject them. Bharat is Hindus and VED its Constitution.
   Who has no respect for this reality, do they belong to Hindustan?

   Is The Karnataka state run by Joakers? How the Hindu workers destroyed the Temple and why the Loacls watched the incident like silent spectators? Cowrd Hindus to be blamed. Concern and involved officials must be fired and their assets must be liquiadated. If Temples are not safe in Indian then No Where in the world.. Looks to me the Nation is run by joakers. Anand,

   Urgently Central Government should pass the bill regarding the “Free of temples from Government”. Temples should be given to rightful owners rather than politicians and government officials. No Tax should be imposed on Temples . The temple funds need to be used to develop tourism in temples, maintain Goshalas to promote agriculture and Gurukuls to teach the importance of Hinduism.
