Two Areas In Bhopal Get New Hindu Names At Sadhvi Pragya’s Behest.

At BJP MP Sadhvi Pragya’s demand, Bhopal civic body changes ‘impure’ and ‘inappropriate’ names of two areas.

Jagannath Mahapatra | HENB | Bhopal | Nov 3, 2022:: Following a proposal by Bhopal MP Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur from Bharatiya Janata Party, the Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) has decided to change the ‘impure’ names of two areas in the capital of Madhya Pradesh.

‘Halalpur Bus Stand’ will now be known as ‘Hanuman Garhi Bus Stand’ and the ‘Lal Ghati’ will be rechristened as ‘Mahendra Narayan Das Ji Maharaj Sarveshwar Chauraha’ in short ‘Sarveshwar Chauraha’.

The controversial Sadhvi, who had said in July 2020 that COVID-19 will be wiped out from earth of people recited Hanuman Chalisa five times a day, explained why she had a problem with the old names.

“The word ‘halal’ in Halalpur is not only impure it also inappropriate. By removing the symbol of slavery, we again have the power to change the history of India. We also stand to change the history of Bhopal and rebuild it,” Sadhvi told HENB. Sadhvi also explained how Halal is weaken the Indian economy by running a parallel financial truce connected with Jihadi terrorism.

As for Lal Ghati, Sadhvi said that there have been many murders at the ‘Lal Ghati’ crossroads.

“Many brave heroes have been martyred. So we should pay our respects by forgetting the bloody past,” the BJP leader said.

BMC president Kishan Suryavanshi supported the proposal Sadhvi’s proposal, which was passed at a meeting recently.

From a source, it is divulged that some other changes of place names in Bhopal in the ‘queue of consideration’.
