Save Banke Bihari & other 300 temples from the onslaught of Vrindavan Temple Corridor Project as designed: Dr Subramanian Swamy.

Dr Subramanian Swamy writes to UP CM Yogi Adityanath on the Vrindavan Banke Bihari Corridor Project to save the age old iconic temple from any renovation hazards. 

Upendra Bharti | HENB | Mathura | March 3, 2023:: BJP leader and Hindutva leader Dr Subramanian Swamy writes to Uttar Pradesh Cheif Minister Yogi Adityanath on the Vrindavan Banke Bihari Corridor Project as the 5 Acre land around Iconic Temple of Banke Bihari Temple in Vrindavan will be acquired leading to demolishing of 300 temples and other buildings.   

In his letter Dr Swamy  raised his voice in the letter urging “Urgent intervention with respect to building Vrindavan Temple Corridor in Banke Vihari temple in Vrindavan, in Uttar Pradesh’s Mathura Districts”.

Describing the Dharmik importance of Banke Bihari Temple and its divine relationship with pioneer Vishnavite Acharya Shrila Haridas Thakur. Swamy urged not to hamper any damage of the magnificence, significance and serenity of the temple anyway as reflected in Swamy’s letter.

Not only that Swamy mentioned, “Indirect takeover of the Temple management to  build “corridor” belonging to the sampradaya professing Sanatan Dharma, the same exercise is violative of the faith and worship enshrined in the basic structure of the Constitution i.e. preamble read with Article 25  of the Constitution of India.”

Earlier, for making the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, the UP Government destroyed many ancient temples without shifting those properly with honour and did not make compensation to the Maths and Ashrams those razed to ground for the facility of PM Modi’s visionary projects as complained by many Dharmik institutions.

Supporting the move of Dr Swamy, Upananda Brahmachari, the editor of ‘Struggle for Hindu Existence‘ website tweeted, “In the name of renovation, destruction of Old Hindu temples are very unfortunate if erasing the dharmik history of this holy land.”

Numbers of cases are now pending in various Mathura Courts in the dispute of Krishna Janmasthan Temple and Idgah Masjid-Mathura and now such rabbles for the  Vrindavan Temple Corridor Project is likely to disturb to the devotion of the pilgrims linked with these holy places of Mathura and Vrindavan.
