Banning ‘The Kerala Story’, Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee clearly narrates ‘The Bengal Story’.

Crossing all limits of Muslim appeasement, WB CM Mamata Banerjee banned “The Kerala Story”  to set her stands to support “Love Jihad” and “ISIS Recruitment” by the Jihadi Terrorists from Bengal. 

Abhisikta Das | HENB | Kolkata | May 8, 2023:: The West Bengal government on Monday announced its decision to ban  ‘The Kerala Story’, calling it a Hindutva propaganda movie that spreads Islamophobia.

The ‘pro-Muslim’ and ‘anti-Hindu’ Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced the decision on Monday at the state secretariat- “Nabanna”.

The announcement was followed by TMC supremo’s allegation that “the BJP was funding a film on Bengal on the lines of Kashmir Files”.

During a press conference at Nabanna (State Secretariat), she claimed, “If the political party play with fire, casteism or divide and rule…Why this “Kashmir Files’? To humiliate one section. What is this Kerala File? Though I do not support the CPI (M) because they are working with BJP.”

The Bengal chief minister has directed the state chief secretary to ensure the film is removed from screens running in the state. Mamata Banerjee said the decision has been taken to “maintain peace in Bengal” and avoid any incident of hate crime and violence.

From the beginning of coming to power in West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee has been supporting the rowdy Muslim elements allegedly connected with the communal forces in a Jihadi trend; only for franchising her Muslim Vote Bank to take a benefit from that.

Even commenting on Muslim excesses in communal riots to attack the public and police, CM Banerjee showed her indulgence by saying that, it is natural to bear with the kicks of milching cows (Dudhel Gai)^[1][2][3].

As the conspiracy of ‘Love Jihad’ and ‘Recruitment of ISIS caders’ are vividly exposed in “The Kerala Story” and that is also similar to the Bengal situation of variant forms (mind it dozens of Bengali Muslim Boys and at least one Hindu girl joined in various jihadi outfits as per reliable news reporting), WB CM has her strong reservation not to open the Jihadi cauldron in Bengal.

In an election campaign in Karnataka, PM Modi expressed his support for the film, ‘The Kerala Story’. Being a Bafoon contender to PM Modi, Mamata Banerjee registered his Modi bashing by banning it in Bengal. Many BJP-ruled states made the film tax-free.

BJP state president Sukanta Majumdar slammed the ruling TMC government’s move and claimed Mamata Banerjee wants to “close her eyes to the reality”.

The BJP leader said, “CM Mamata Banerjee has banned the movie ‘The Kerala Story. Nothing to surprise, it was expected of her. It is based on the true stories and shows how Islamists trap Hindu girls into Love Jihad and later send to become ISIS terrorists. Didi wants to close her eyes to the reality.”

“She wants to deprive the people of WB, especially women from this harsh reality. The cases of Love Jihad are common in WB. WB has led the way of the country whenever the need arises. Her decision is the opposite to that. By banning, she has proved again there is no FoE in WB. Shame!” he added.

Reacting to The Kerala Story being banned in West Bengal, film’s producer Vipul Shah said, “If that is what she has done, we will take legal action. Whatever is possible under the provisions of law, we will fight.”

In a nutshell, Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee has made a peril for Hindus in the State by giving a free hand to the communal Muslims all around. Recently, Bengal saw Islamic attacks in the Ram Navami processions in many places of Howrah, South 24 Parganas, and a brutal rape -&-murder of a tribal Hindu girl student in Kaliaganj in North Dinajpur.

ROW OVER THE KERALA STORY AND ITS SUCCESS

The Adah Sharma-starrer The Kerala Story centers around alleged religious indoctrination in Kerala and how Hindu and Christian women are being targeted by radical Islamic clerics. The movie claims that these women were trapped in Love Jihad,  converted to Islam, sexually exploited, later sent to countries like Afghanistan, Yemen and Syria “to fight for the cause of Islam”, and even killed and put to jail in any neighboring country there.

In Kerala, various Islamic youth outfits staged demonstrations against the screening of the movie which hit theatres across the country on May 5.

But, in its amazing success, ‘The Kerala Story’ blew the box office with the huge support of the movie-lovers across the country with top trending.

Interestingly, another Jihad-exposing film, ‘The Kashmir Files’ was not banned in West Bengal from screening. But, before the Panchayat election to be held this year in the state, WB CM wanted to show her support to the Muslim voters in Bengal by banning ‘The Kerala Story”.

Sanskar Bharati, West Bengal Unit condemned the ban calling it a violation of the right to freedom of expression, and mentioned that the Kerala High Court and the  Supreme Court of India also rejected the ban plea against the film as made by the pro-Jihad people.

In a press release, Sanskar Bharati expressed its concern by telling,” The Kerala Story is made on the matter of violence against women and the upsurging terrorism. Baning the film the WB Govt has secondarily supported these two menace of violence against women and terrorism.”

In its press statement, the Intellectual Cell of BJP WB unit expressed its concern by saying, “The Ruling Party (TMC) is trying to cover the truth by most despicable means at its disposal. It is an assault not only on a Bengali producer and film maker Sudipto Sen but also on the whole Bengali community in the name of law and order a false pretext.”
