Karnataka’s Moral Policing Shocker: A Hindu youth was attacked and beaten by a group of Muslim men in Chikkaballapur for eating snacks at a food outlet with a Muslim girlfriend.

B Upendran | HENB | Bengaluru | May 26, 2023:: A group of Muslim men attacked a Hindu youth on Thursday in Karnataka’s Chikkaballapur for eating snacks with his Muslim girlfriend, after they spotted the two eating snacks at a food outlet. The Muslim woman was also attacked by the group for visiting the food outlet with a Hindu man, police said.

The accused with his radicalised friends had noticed them when the youth and woman were having snacks at Gopika Chaats and realised that the man accompanying her was Hindu.

The Islamist group came to start a moral policing on the Muslim woman to reject her relationship with her Hindu friend and thrashed the Hindu youth. The woman came to rescue him and told the group attacking the youth that she knew him “very well”.

The group then started questioning her and told her that going out to a food outlet with a Hindu man was wrong and she should apologise for the same, according to IANS.

Police have obtained the video of the incident and are on the search to arrest the accused men.

In recent times, a new menace of Islamist mobs attacking Hindu-Muslim couples has come to light. Multiple videos have surfaced on social media where these Muslim extremists are seen harassing, abusing, molesting, and physically assaulting Hindu men and Muslim women when found they are in a friendship or relationship.

Reports say that Muslim mobs are going hostile after a Congreess’ victory in the recent Karnataka assembly election and they have started not paying bus fare in the public transport system and not paying electricity bills etc. as they think Muslims have played the key role for the victory of Congress in Karnataka and now cases of bullying over Hindus are also now surfaced here and there.
