War Zone: VHP’s Brij Mandal Jalabhishek Yatra on Aug 28 denied in Nuh, Haryana by BJP Govt.

The double-engine Govt in Haryana is incapacitated to ensure Hindu Religious Rights in the state….

“Go to nearby temples, offer prayers…”: Haryana CM after Govt denies permission for Brij Mandal Yatra of VHP and Bajrang Dal. Vishva Hindu Parishad strongly disagreed.

KhattarUpendra Bharti | HENB | Chandigarh | Aug 27, 2023:: After the Haryana government denied permission for the Brij Mandal Yatra called by Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal in Nuh, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Sunday said that people can visit nearby temples and offer prayers as it is the month of ‘Sawan’.

The rights of Tirath Yatra (pilgrimage) and the rights Hindu religious process are thus infringed by a BJP govt after it surrendered in front of the Islamic power of Jihadi hooliganism touched the next level in Haryana. Haryana is blessed with a ‘Double Engine’ (as BJP in power both in the center and state) Govt, however.

Haryana government authorities have denied permission for the Yatra and have imposed section 144 in the district citing apprehensions of disturbance of law and order expressed by local police as well as intelligence agencies. It is proved that the BJP Govt is totally incapacitated to check the Jihadi manifestation in the state in order to maintain law and order for carrying out a Hindu procession there.

“Looking at the kind of incident that happened there (Nuh) at the beginning of the month, it is the government’s duty to ensure that law and order in the area is maintained. Our police and administration have taken this decision that instead of carrying out a yatra (Braj Mandal Shobha Yatra), people should go to nearby temples and offer prayers. Permission for yatra is denied but people can go and offer prayers in nearby temples as it is Sawan month,” CM Khattar told reporters today.

He further said that respecting the people’s faith, permission will be given for ‘Jalabhishek’ in the nearby temples. It means that the great BJP Govt in Haryana is now determined to give directions to the Hindus where to worship and where to stop it!

The Manohar Lal Khattar-led Haryana government on Saturday said that no permission has been granted to hold Braj Mandal Shobha Yatra in Nuh adding that section 144 has been imposed in the district.

Addressing the media, Nuh Deputy Commissioner Dhirendra Khadgata said, “We have denied the permission for yatra (Braj Mandal Shobha Yatra). Still, some have said they will conduct the yatra. We have imposed Section 144.

“Haryana  Police on Saturday said that the internet services have been suspended in Nuh district till August 28.” As a preventive measure, internet services have been suspended in Nuh from 12 noon on August 26 up to 11:59 pm on August 28,” an official statement said.

However, Vishwa Hindu Parishad said that they will bring out a Braj Mandal Jal Abhishek Yatra on August 28 in Nuh.

Dr Surendra Jain, the  Joint General Secretary of Vishva Hindu Parishad speaks on the VHP yatra in Nuh, says, “Permission for religious rally is not required…The administration comes forward and extends support for the religious rally.”

“The people of Mewat said they will complete this Yatra. The administration must take action against rioters…Yatra hogi, iska roop aur aakar kya hoga iss par charcha ki ja sakte hai…We have opened this option to the administration so that a discussion can be done on how to organise the yatra…” said Dr. Surendra Jain of  Vishva Hindu Parishad.

So, it’s a big fight now between BJP and VHP in Haryana on the matter of Hindu rights of worship concerning the resume of Brij Mandal Jalabhishek Yatra fixed on Aug 28.

ANI reports that security tightened in Nuh ahead of the yatra called by Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) on August 28; drones are being used by police for surveillance.

Police personnel deployed at Sohna-Nuh toll plaza in Gurugram ahead of the yatra called by Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) on August 28.

On Nuh Yatra, Alok Kumar, Int’l working president of Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) says, “We know that G20 is going to start, so we will shorten the Yatra, but we will not leave it and will complete it tomorrow and I will also take part in it…Why will Law and order issues arise? Why the government is there? The government is there to maintain Law & Order so that people can organise their religious events peacefully and safely. We will organise it peacefully and they (administration and govt) should maintain law & order…”

Rajendra Kumar, IG, South Range Rewari on VHP yatra in Nuh says, “The Administration has denied permission and we are also trying to control everything by mutual understanding. For Law and Order deployment has been done. On the deployment front too we have done all the arrangements…”

Surender, DSP Nuh Headquarters, says, “Taking account of tomorrow’s preparation we are checking the neighbourhood area with the help of drones and manual inspection.”

Thus, Nuh has been made a war zone to stop VHP’s Brij Mandal Jalabhishek Yatra on August 28 by the BJP govt in Haryana.
