Hindus must observe 6th December as “Shaurya Diwas” every year.

6th Dec Shaurya Diwas

Why No ‘Shaurya Diwas’ for VHP in Ayodhya Today?

6th December is the Day of Hindu Prowess to remove the symbol of Islamic vandalism over the years in Indian history. To infuse the regimentation in the mind of majority people the celebration of ‘Shaurya Diwas’ must be included in the calendar of all Hindu organisations.

Upendra Bharati | HENB | Ayodhya | Dec 6, 2023:: For the first time  in 31 years, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) is not observing ‘Shaurya Diwas’ in Uttar Pradesh’s Ayodhya to mark the demolition of Babri mosque on Wednesday. The VHP and its affiliate organisations will not organise any event or public meeting anywhere in Ayodhya, including Karsevakpuram. As VHP informed this to all the satate units all over the country, the observation of 6th December as Shuarya Diwas is halted henceforth.

“After the Supreme Court unanimously gave the verdict in favour of Ram Mandir on November 9, 2019 , the chapter of Babri Masjid was closed for us,” said Sharad Sharma, regional spokesperson of VHP, who operates from from Karsevakpuram in Ayodhya.

“Now, December 6 has been incorporated in January 22 when Ram Lalla will be enthroned in the Ram Temple sanctum sanctorum, January 22 is more important than December 6 for the preparation of the Pranpartistha(conseration) cerrmony” added Sharma.

While VHP has abandoned the “Shuarya Diwas‘ (Day of Prowess) since prnouncement of the Ayodhya verdict by the apex court, the Muslim Community is still ovserving the “Yaum-e-Gham” (Day of Sorrow) on Wednesday .

Though VHP has abandoned the programme of Shuarya Diwas in a very calculative manner for the benefit for its political partner BJP, many other Hindu organisations like Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha and AntarRashtriya Hindu Parishad are celebrating the Shuarya Diwas in Ayodhya, Kashi, Mathura. Muradabad and Agra including many others places throughout India.

As a matter of fact, in the various phases of Aodhya Ram Janmabhoomi Temple movement, thousands of Hindus sacrificed their lives for this cause of restore the rights of worship against the Islam aggression on the Indian culture and history.

In recent times,on October 30, 1990 hundreds of Karsevaks were killed on police firing as ordered by then Mulayam Singh Yadav government which heightened the zeal of the Hindus to restore the Ram Janmabhoomi temple at any cost. As a result of it, lakhs of Karsevaks marched to Ayodhya from Kashmir to Kanyakumari only to remove the symbol of Islamic vandalism that stood as Babri structure for centuries. Within few hours, the ‘illegal’ occupation of Babri structure was vanished on December 6, 1992 from the ground of Ayodhya where an old Hindu temple existed earlier.

6th December is the Day of Hindu Prowess to remove the symbol of Islamic vandalism over the years in Indian history. To infuse the regimentation in the mind of majority people the celebration of ‘Shaurya Diwas’ must be included in the calendar of all Hindu organisations.

The foolish notion to erase the history of persecution on Hindus in Islamic period under a spell of ‘Same DNA” cannot help the ‘Hinduness’ or the ‘Hindutva’ in the way of arbitrary adjustment with the enemies who still dream to rebuild the Babri Mosque once again in oblivion.

Taking his X handle, Hindu Existence Editor and Hindutva proponent Upananda Brahmachari urged to observe 6th December as “Shaurya Diwas” every year.

The Ram Janmabhoomi Temple movement and the Construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya has reshaped the Hindu History and Politics in India as it is now. And 6th December 1992 is the landmark of it. We should not forget it. For the Hindutva proliferation in its originality, Hindus must observe 6th December every year in the wavelength of Jai Shri Ram.
