Appeal of Badruddin Ajamal to stay home, don’t travel in trains during Ram Temple consecration, may be a part of anti-Hindu conspiracy.

Upendra Bharti | HENB | New Delhi | Jan 8, 2024:: Ahead of the consecration ceremony of Shri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on January 22, All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) chief Badruddin Ajmal has asked the members of the Muslim community in Assam to avoid travelling by trains from January 20 to January 25 to avoid “any untoward incident”. He also called “the BJP is the biggest enemy of the Muslims”.

At a public meeting in Assam’s Barpeta district last Friday, the AIUDF chief advised Muslims not to leave their homes from January 20 to 25. Badruddin Ajmal said, ‘We have to be very careful. Muslims should not board the train between January 20 and 25. Consecration of Ramlala  will be performed in newly built Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya. The whole country will witness that incident. Lakhs of devotees will gather in Ayodhya. BJP has a big plan. We should not leave our homes in the meantime.”

Spewing venom on the saffron camp, he added, ‘BJP is the biggest enemy of Muslims. They are the biggest enemy of our life. This BJP is harmful to our faith, our azaan (prayer call)…, our pride, our mosque and the dignity of Muslim women.”

Ajmal made this appeal while speaking at a foundation stone  laying ceremony of a madrasa in Barpeta district.

Reacting to the AIUDF chief’s statement, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju said, “…People from all religions should welcome Lord Ram on January 22 because Lord Ram is the symbol of India and not just of one religion…”

On Badruddin Ajmal’s statement, Union Minister Meenakshi Lekhi said, January 22 is going to be a big day for the whole world. 550 years of oppression is coming to an end and Lord Ram is going to be reestablished in his home. She said, the one who has Ram in every pore of his body always talks about harmony. But, some people do not know the glory of the name Ram. When there is knowledge, there will definitely be improvement in words and thoughts.

But, from some quarters, the statement of Badruddin Ajmal has been taken as a part of a bigger conspiracy of the riots and train blast to vitiate the situation against Hindus  during Ram Temple consecration programme.

Taking his X handle, eminent Hindutva interlocutor, Upanada Brahmachari wrote: ” Muslims stay home, don’t travel by trains during the consecration of Ram Temple, says @AIUDFOfficial Chief Badaruddina Ajmal….. This can be a part of #BiggerConspiracy of #Riots and #TrainBlasts”.

The former CBI Director, M. Nageswara Rao also questioned, “ is this appeal of Badruddin Ajmal to Muslims portends something sinister?” Rao also requested the Union Home Minister Amit Singh through his X handle, ” to instruct all State/UT Governments and all Central Police Forces to be extraordinarily vigilant to avert any terrorist attacks, etc on Hindus visiting Ayodhya for the event on 22nd January 2024″.  

Accordingly, the Home Ministry and railway Ministry of India and other states must take precautions to avoid any untoward incidents like Rioting or Train Blasts during the Ram Temple Consecration Programme in Ayodhya.
