Upendra Bharti | HENB | Kolkata | Jan 11, 2024:: During his week long Dharmik tour in West Bengal, Govardhan Math Puri Peeth Shankaracharya Swami Nischalananda Saraswati has his divine plan to regenerate Sanatan Hindu sentiments among the people the state.
Before going to his routine Ganga Sagar Pravas as usual on every Makar Sankranti, Puri Shankaracharya explained the reason for not attending 22 January Ayodhya programme and the importance of Hindu Rashtra in a Sangosthi (religious discourses) in Satsanga Bhawan at Malapara in Barabazar, Kolkata.
The senior most Shankaracharya Swami Nischalananda Saraswati will reach Gangasagar on January 13 and conduct a Hindu Rashtra Dharma Sabha on the same day. He will perform the mass Sagar Aarti on January 14 and will lead the Shahi Snan there on January 15. On the next day His holiness will exhort in the Hindu Rashtra Dharma Sabha in Howrah.
While speaking to the press persons and devotees in Satsang Bhawan, Puri Shanakaracharya said that the consecration of any temple or idol in an incomplete condition is an utter contradiction with the Shastra-vidhi (rituals as per scriptures) leading to sin and catastrophe to the nation. He urged all concerned to maintain the Sanatan Hindu Dharma as per Shashtra.
The Puri Shankaracharya categorically said that the Temples should be used for welfare of the society and must not be used for political purposes.

When asked for a road map for a Hindu Rashtra in Bharat and its timeline, He said, “When Hindus will be Dharmik (righteous according to the Sanatan Shastras), Hindu Rashtra will be established automatically.”
About establishment of a huge Jagannath Temple in Digha (WB) by a body promoted by state government, Puri Shankaracharya urged the same Shastra-vidhi according to Snatana Dharma. He also opined that all such attempts must be followed under the blessings of Lord Jagannath of Puri, which is his abode in supreme order that cannot be superseded anyway.
Various wings under Govardhan Math like Dharma Sangha, Peeth Parishad, Aditya Vahini, Ananda vahini, Vishwa Vaicharik Kranti Abhiyan, Bharat Hindu rashtra Prachar Prasar Prakalp etc. are actively working in West Bengal to regenerate the Sanatan Arya Vaidik Hindu spirit among the people of Bengal ultimately.
