Ancient Shiva idol vandalised in a Hindu Temple in UP in the month of Ramadan.

Tension in UP village after Lord Shiva Idol found vandalised by unknown miscreants during Ramadan. 

An ancient Lord Shiva idol was vandalised at a temple in a village on Thursday morning. An FIR has been lodged. 

Vijaya Pillai | HENB | Siddharthanagar | April 4, 2024:: Huge tension gripped Igata Village, which falls under Khasra Police Station, after an ancient idol of Lord Shiva was found desecrated in a Shiva Temple on Thursday morning. According to Siddharthanagar Superintendent of Police Prachi Singh, some unidentified miscreants vandalized an ancient Shiva idol in Igata village early morning. She said that an FIR has been lodged and five teams have been formed to nab the accused persons.

The miscreants are believed as members of Religion of Peace community belonging the Iconoclast groups and having faith in Allah, Quran, and Muhammad. It is happened in the month of Ramadan which is preached as a month of ‘Non-Violence’.

On miscreants vandalise idols at ancient Shiva temple, SP Siddharthanagar Prachi Singh says, “…After receiving information, police station circle in-charge, DM and I did the inspection. Criminal elements have vandalised the idols…FIR is also getting registered. We have put 5 teams…And whoever has committed this, we will make sure that exemplary action is taken,” ANI quoted SP Singh as saying.

There is no arrest of the miscreants so far. Police is investing the case to reveal the intension of such attack on Hindu temple and idols therein.

It is alarming that anti-Hindu perpetrators are still in action in Yogi Raj (under the Chief Minister-ship 0f Yogi Adityanath), what is believed to be a safe place for Hindus!
