Indore: 8 Muslims returned to Hindu faith in VHP’s Suddhi programme.

In Indore, Muslims adopted Hindu religion, women also became Sanatani, Parveen got the name Pallavi, Haider got the name Hari.

Upendra Bharti | HENB | Indore (MP) | April 28, 2024:: Eight people from Muslim community in Indore have adopted Hindu religion. They were formally inducted into Sanatan Dharma on Saturday afternoon at Khajrana Ganesh Temple in the city. Among these people, one is a citizen of Khajrana area of Indore and the rest are residents of Mandsaur district. Three women are also included among these seven people who returned home of ancestral Hindu faith. They wilfully embraced Hindu Dharma out of love and respect to the Hindu root  only after gathering knowledge and studying  about Hindu religion.

Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s Indore unit  leader Santosh Sharma said that these people were made to return home with chanting of mantras in Khajrana Ganesh temple. Before coming to Khajrana temple, all of them were purified by the pundits in the Dharamshala of Patidar community with cow urine, soil and 10 types of baths. After this, they were made to wear saffron clothes and brought to Khajrana temple through a procession.

Haider adopted the name Hari

Maintaining the  scriptural  rituals, Parveen has been named as Pallavi, Irfan as Ishwar, Ghaffar as Govind, Mohammad Yunus as Mohanlal, Ruqaiya Bi as Rukmini, Haider as Hari and Tamanna as Tannu. The person who became Hari from Haider of Khajrana said that he is very influenced by Sanatan Dharma. He said that Hindu religion respects all religions and being influenced by this, I have adopted this religion. All of the participants in the Suddhi (Hindu conversion) took the oath to maintain righteousness according to the Hindu culture and traditions.

Threats received after religious conversion

Hari said that after the religious conversion, he is continuously receiving threat calls. I am being threatened with dire consequences. Some people are also abusing me. I know my decision is absolutely right. I have taken this decision after careful consideration.

VHP gave the assurance to protect

Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s Indore unit  leader Santosh Sharma told HENB that VHP and Bajrang Dal  would be able to take any challenge to give the safety and security of Hindu brothers and sisters in touch with the Hindu organisations.
