Vishwa Hindu Parishad to address Hindu unity, stop conversion, prevent love-Jihad, demographic change, cow protection, liberate Hindu temples etc. at events during Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj.

Upendra Bharti | HENB |  Varanasi | Jan 2, 2025:: The Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj is shaping up to be a significant event, with plans to unite people under the ‘Hindus are one’ slogan. VHP (Vishwa Hindu Parishad)  organising secretary Milind Parande announced that the event will also host discussions on pressing issues such as conversion and the declining Hindu birth rate leading to demographic change in India. This year’s Maha Kumbh Mela is scheduled to take place from January 13 to February 26, 2025, and will feature various bathing dates, including Paush Purnima on January 13, Makar Sankranti on January 14, and Maha Shivaratri on February 26. VHP plans to hold its camps during Maha Kumbh from Jan 13 to Feb 28.

The Prayagraj Maha Kumbh 2025 is expected to draw a massive crowd of 40 crore people between January 13 and February 28. According to Milind Parande, the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) plans to utilize this festival to promote unity among Hindus under the banner ‘We Hindus Are One’. This collective effort will include a symbolic dip in the confluence of rivers, emphasizing the importance of social harmony. The government and VHP are reportedly working together to ensure the event’s success and spread a positive message globally.

The Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) has planned a series of activities at the Maha Kumbh 2025, scheduled to take place from January 13 to February 28. As part of these events, the VHP has invited religious leaders from 150 sects across India to participate in discussions on various topics, including family awareness, social harmony, conversion issues, and the declining Hindu birth rate. VHP will address also on the issue to liberate Hindu temples from Government control.

The events will also feature conferences specifically designed for young saints and sadhvis, with significant participation expected from southern and north-eastern India. Additionally, prominent Buddhist leaders and tribal communities will attend, emphasizing the importance of social unity.

A conference on cow protection and preservation will be held, featuring thousands of workers and organizations dedicated to Hindu unity. Additionally, a women’s conference will address topics such as family values, love jihad, and women’s empowerment. An all-India meeting will bring together workers from 350 departments to discuss prevention of religious conversions and welcoming those who return to Hinduism.

Other events include conferences on promoting Vedic and Sanskrit languages, tribal Kumbh bathing, and meetings of central Margdarshak committees. Furthermore, a daily Sita Rasoi food distribution program will be part of the fair.

The Maha Kumbh 2025 is a significant event, celebrated every 12 years, and is considered the world’s largest public gathering and collective act of faith. This year’s event will take place in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, at the confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna, and the mythical invisible Saraswati.
