Two Hindu Girls Rescued from Delhi Brothel, Muslim Trafficker Asghar Ali Arrested.

Sankirtan Das | HENB | Kolkata | July 6, 2025:: The Murshidabad district police have rescued two Hindu Class 10 students from a brothel in Delhi. According to police, their attempt to sell them failed. The girls were rescued with the help of Delhi Police and a local voluntary organization.

A Muslim youth from North 24 Parganas, Asghar Ali, has been arrested in connection with the case. The incident began on June 30, when two 16-year-old girls went missing from their school in Jiaganj town. Their family searched for them but couldn’t find them, and later they filed a missing person’s diary with the police station.

During the investigation, CCTV footage showed that the girls had gone to Howrah by train instead of going to school. The police discovered from their Instagram chats that a young man from North 24 Parganas had lured them to Delhi.

Initially, a raid was conducted at Paharganj police station, but the girls couldn’t be found. Later, with local information and volunteer help, the police rescued them from a hotel infamous for its prostitution business.

The Murshidabad police are investigating whether Asghar Ali was involved in any previous crimes. He had met the girls on social media, taken them to Delhi, and was trying to sell them. Police said the rescued girls will be brought back to Murshidabad safely.
