Togadia warns Muslims, condemns fanatical attack on pilgrims of Amarnath Yatra.

HE Media Bureau | Indore | 20 July 2014:: In an unveiled caution to Muslims, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Pravin Togadia on Saturday asked the community not to forget Muzaffarnagar riots of 2013.  He said if they tried to incite the fiery violence, they would also have to bear the brunt. An erudite Togadia explored Hindu retaliation against any attack upon Hindus in the next possible term in even village level.

“Main Musalmanon ko chetawani deta hun…..  Aap Gujarat bhul gaye honge, par aapko Muzaffarnagar yaad hoga. (I warn Muslims…you would have forgotten Gujarat but surely remember the Muzaffarnagar riots,” he said while condemning attack on Amarnath pilgrims. “If you set Hanuman’s tail on fire, Lanka will burn. Gujarat riots broke out following the Godhra incident, and the rape of a Hindu girl led to the Muzaffarnagar riots,” Free Press Journal has quoted him as saying.

“Humari shaleenta ko, humari kayarta na samjhe (Don’t consider our silence as timidity),” he asked Muslims.

As per source, Dr. Togadia has reportedly said that while Gujarat riots followed the Godhra incident, the alleged rape of a Hindu girl led to the Muzaffarnagar riots. Togadia has a central team to probe the matter, while holding the Jammu and Kashmir government responsible for the violence.

The VHP leader was addressing a press conference on the World Hindu Congress Summit, which is scheduled to be organised in New Delhi in November this year.

Bajarangadal protests against AMARNATH YATRA attacks at New Delhi

Hindus protests at New Delhi against  barbaric Islamic attacks on AMARNATH YATRA .

Clashes broke out on Friday near Baltal, the base camp of Amarnath Yatra, after a dispute between pony owners and those running community kitchens and alleged high-handedness by CRPF personnel, leaving at least 50 people injured following which the yatra has been suspended intially but restored afterwards.

He demanded fast track courts be set up to try the culprits. He said the state government would not be able to control the situation if the relatives of the victims take to the streets against the attack.

Taking exception to the contentious Article 370, he expressed hope that the Narendra Modi Government will keep its word on repealing it in the interest of the Kashmiri migrants. He also asserted that the BJP has got clear majority and the will fulfill its promise of the construction of Rama temple in Ayodhya as made in the manifesto. When asked to share his views on journalist Ved Pratap Vaidik’s meeting with 26/11 mastermind Hafiz Saeed, he said, “If we have courage, we should bring him (Hafiz Saeed) to India, try him in the court and hang him. That will be real patriotism.”

Todagia’s statements come as a rejoinder of VHP patron Ashok Singhal’s remarks about Muslims. A few days earlier, Singhal had termed result of Lok Sabha elections 2014 a “setback to Muslim politics” as a natural outcome of Hindu polarization of Indian Election scenario. The 88-year-old RSS leader and the VHP Mentor  said that polls in India could be won without the support of Muslims, asked the minority community to learn a lesson and respect Hindu sentiments.
