Upananda Brahmachari | HENB | Lucknow | June 8, 2015:: Even the medicine of ‘Modi Yoga’ does not work for them. The newly introduced ‘Modi Yoga’ with out ‘OM’ as propounded by the new avatar of Yoga, Sri Narendra Damodar Das Modi, discarding ‘Patanjal’, ‘Hata’ or ‘Kriya’ Yog Darshan has no attraction for them. Ultimately, Yoga and Surya Namaskar are declared intolerable for the All India Muslim Personal Law Board and the Muslim mass under their control and AIMPLB is to start campaign against Yoga and Surya Namaskar being compulsory in schools.
All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) decided on Sunday to launch a campaign against making Yoga and ‘Surya Namaskar’ compulsory in schools.
According to PTI, Maulana Khalid Rashid Farangi Mahala said, “We have decided to constitute a committee of our members headed by Maulana Wali Rahmani and launch a country-wide campaign against the move of making ‘Surya Namaskar’ and Yoga compulsory in schools.”
The spokesperson of the body, Maulana Abdul Raheem Qureshi believes that Narendra Modi government is making Muslims insecure and said, “Narendra Modi is functioning like the PM of RSS and not as the PM of India. It is dangerous for the secular fabric of the country.”
After a meeting in Lucknow, AIMPLB formed an action group, Majlis-e-Amal that comprises of four objectives pertaining to activities in school. The objectives are concerned with stopping Hindu practices like Yoga in schools, oppose imposition of other religions in schools, safeguarding the religious freedom of students and ensuring that Sharia law is implemented among Muslims.
Taking the issue beyond Hindu-Muslim rifts, AIMPLB members said that they will try to include other people of other religions in the campaign. The board informed they would discuss about the campaign and discuss the issues of attack on the freedom to publicize one’s religion in separate sessions.
“The committee will also find ways to make Muslim community aware of their constitutional rights. During the campaign, we will put forth our view on Surya Namaskar and Yoga and explain as to why it was against our religious beliefs and should not be forced on our children,” Khalid Rashid Farangi Mahali said.
“Recently some court decisions have come against Sharia laws. The All India Muslim Personal Law Board has decided to file an appeal in such cases in court and fight the legal battle as a party in such cases,” he said.
Actually the body of AIMPLB is making stern provocation against the observation of International Yoga day on 21 June as a world wide event under UN declaration.
Now, as per at the source of HENB, the AIMPLB is going to declare the ‘Constitution is India’ is ‘anti-Islamic’ and Sharia is the only mandate for Muslims, so ‘Muslims of India are not bound to follow the constitution of India’ as ‘it is not maintainable as per Sharia law’ so far.
On the other hand, a 35-minute mass demonstration of 15 yoga asanas by 45,000 school children, government officials, diplomats, army personnel and NCC cadets, led by PM Narendra Modi himself, at Rajpath will possibly lead to a record of sorts ob this June 21, .
The event has already been registered as an entry into the Guinness Book of World Records, under “largest yoga demonstration/class at single venue” and if government sources are to be believed, every inch preparation to make the event a grand spectacle is directed at that. “The PM is insistent that the event makes an impact internationally,” a government official said. An AYUSH official part of the inter-ministerial group organising the function said they were “trying very hard to get the record set but the rules of the world record are tough.”
In a recent meeting wherein the PM took stock of the preparations, he is said to have told bureaucrats not to worry about the budget but make sure yoga was turned into a “people’s movement” and that benefits reached every Indian.
To be held under the tagline, “Live your life to its full potential” and “Apni sambhavnaon ko sambhav karo,” preparations for the mega event are under way with meetings being held at Rajpath every day. “We have written to all yoga gurus in India to come with their students to reach the number comfortably,” said the AYUSH official.
The event on June 21 will start at 6.45 a.m. A 35 minute exercise session is said to include fifteen yogic postures. “We have stretching and loosening exercises, a two- minute rig veda invocation in the beginning. The programme will end with a hindi prayer,” an official said. The session that includes basic yogic asanas such as shalabasana, pawanmuktasana, makrasana among others will be followed by breathing exercises Kaapalabhaati and Pranayana for fifteen minutes and meditation for six minutes.
On June 21 and June 22, the government is also hosting a conference on “yoga for holistic health” at Vigyan Bhavan that will have speakers from 18 countries.
The centre has also written to State governments assuring them a financial assistance of one lakh to every NGO designated as coordinating organization for every district to get at least 60,000 people across India to perform the exercises at a designated place, an official said. Nine lakh security personnel across the country are being trained to perform the asanas from their field units.
It must be noted that the United Nations declared June 21 as the International Day of Yoga, in December last year after PM Modi pitched for it in his maiden address to the UN General Assembly in New York in September. The draft resolution was co-sponsored by 130 countries – an all-time record for a resolution of such kind.
But, yet Modi Saab is unable to manage the Indian Muslims mass for joining into this event or to get any entry into their fundamental mind for any change!
