Pakistani Intelligence Agency to Target Hindu Temples in India for Provocating Riots.

Pakistan ISI to carry out vandalism at religious places in India during Diwali.

DNA Correspondent | New Delhi | 7 November 2015::  Pakistan’s Inter-State Intelligence (ISI) is again trying to foment trouble in India during the festive season.

According to advisory sent to the director generals of police of all states, instead of carrying out terror strikes the ISI this time plans to carry out vandalism at religious places to stoke communal passion and divide the society.

The states have been advised to be particularly more vigilant for sensitive religious places in old heritage cities and make extra deployment of police personnel in plain clothes near such spots to stop any trouble before it starts and becomes communal.

Sources in the intelligence agencies said they have got intercepts and human intelligence regarding the plans of the ISI for which it wants to use sleeper cells of various outfits including Indian Mujahideen and Khalistani outfits.

“Perhaps the ISI is of the view that in the given situation the time is ripe to foment trouble by doing the acts of vandalism like desecration and sacrilege at religious places. It has done so with some success in Punjab by desecrating the holy book of the Sikhs,” said sources.

The ISI, sources said, has chosen this novel way as acts of vandalism does not require money and can be done in a discreet manner without arousing the suspicion of security agencies.
