20 soldiers killed in militant attack in Uri. Now, it is the threshold to attack Pakistani Terror bases directly.  

Upendra Bharti | HENB | New Delhi | Sept 19, 2016::  Seventeen soldiers were martyred  in a Jihadi militant attack in Uri area of Baramulla district on Sunday morning. Police sources said that fidayeen militants stormed an Army camp in Uri near the Line of Control (LoC) around 4 a.m. Four militants were killed in the encounter. Three more soldiers died later in hospital. Some soldiers in still in critical condition which may cause the death toll to rise.

“A group of heavily armed terrorists targeted the rear administrative base of a unit at Uri, Kashmir. In the counter action, four terrorists were eliminated and combing operations are in progress,” the Army said in a statement. This group was from Pakistan with a suicidal Jihadi (fidayeen) mode. It is divulged that the Islamic terror group Jaish-e-Muhammad is responsible for this attack with definite Pakistani support and high training.

“The administrative base had large strength of troops of units turning over after their tour of duty who were stationed in tents/temporary shelters which caught fire, and resulted in heavy casualties. We salute the sacrifice of 17 soldiers who were martyred in the operation.”

Defence Minister of India, NIA Chief are all now Kashmir bound to to meet the injured soldiers and to have he latest situation in ground level.

The suicide squad that attacked the Army camp at 12 Brigade headquarters in Uri carried along with their arms and ammunition a mission plan which was annotated in Pashto, highly placed sources said.

The map retrieved from the terrorists revealed that they were to kill unarmed troops, then storm a medical aid unit near the brigade administrative block and blow themselves up in the officers’ mess.

Sources said the map deciphered by military experts indicated that the terrorists were drawn from the banned terror group, Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan (SSP) that recently started working under Jaish command and calls itself “Guardians of the Prophet”. The SSP cadre directly operates under Jaish-e-Mohammad chief Masood Azhar, sources said.

Azhar has publicly likened JeM’s goals to that of the SSP, a Sunni Muslim terror group affiliated to Pakistani Deoband. Taliban draws its inspiration from the Pakistani Deoband.

Sources said the suicide squad attacked the administrative block where unarmed soldiers were refilling diesel in barrels from fuel tanks. The terrorists lobbed 17 grenades in three minutes, which ignited the dump and resulted in a massive fire burning barracks and tents in a 150-metre radius. Thirteen soldiers were burnt alive instantaneously and 32 soldiers were critically injured with severe burns.

With the diesel dump ablaze, due to smog and subsequent explosions, the terrorists got disoriented and headed straight towards soldiers’ barracks. One terrorist was gunned down in the barracks by a 19-year-old Dogra soldier, who, while challenging the other three, sustained a severe head injury when a bullet hit his helmet, sources said.

Since the barracks were vacant, the terrorists took a defensive position in the side barracks of two floors and 16 rooms. Later, four commandoes stormed the building and eliminated the other three terrorists.

All these fidayeen attacks in Jammu and Kashmir and even in Gurdaspur in Punjab in recent times all reveled the Jihadi connection with Pakistani patronage.

The Uri attack is the deadliest in recent time and obviously the major loss of our armed force with can’t be spared with some lip service.

This is the time to attack Pakistan based terrorist outfits in their land and in the bases of Pak occupied Kashmir.

If, Pakistan is not attacked to check their anti-Indian and global terror activities, the morale of Indian armed forces will obviously go down. This will be a most detrimental to  the Indian safety and security.

We can’t wait more. Say no to Radical Islam. Say no to Pakistani Terrorism. Attack Pakistan to bring the peace in Indian subcontinent and defuse the spearhead of Radical Islam and Global Jihad generating from Pakistan.
