Atul Brahmachari | HENB | Dhaka | Oct 25, 2016:: The prime accused of 5 years Hindu girl child rape case at Parbatipur, a hardcore Quran follower and devout Muslim Saiful Islam has been arrested by police in the evening of Monday around 7.00 pm from a dense area of Dinajpur Town in Bangladesh.
The social social media outburst to arrest of the 42 yrs Saiful Rapist who traumatised Puja Das (5 yrs) daughter of one one Subal Das, a daily laborer of Hindu Rishi Das community, created a huge pressure upon the Bangladesh police to arrest the culprit anyway anywhere.
Puja the Hindu rape victim of Dalit community, went untraced on Tuesday, 16th Oct around 11.30 am when she was playing in a field outside here house at Takeyapara village of Jamirhat area under Rampur Union of Parbatipur upazila. Her mutilated body was recovered in almost grasping condition from a nearby turmeric field in the morning of next day.
Immediately, the girl was referred to Rangpur Medical College in a very critical condition. the victim’s condition is still very critical as the personal parts of the little girl was dangerously raptured and overturned by the rapist Saiful Islam.
When the names of the rapist and his helping hand Kabrej Hossian (48 yrs) were divulged to the victim’s family from reliable source, father of the victim, Subal Das lodged an FIR to Parbatipur Model Police Station against both Saiful and Kabrej.
The Officer-in-charge of Parbatipur Model Police Station, Mr Mahmudul Alam confirmed the arrest of Saiful and a local court denied the bail of arrested culprit.
It has been learnt that her genital organs of Puja have been torn apart in such a way that the doctors in the concerned hospital are asking for immediate transfer of the child to a tertiary care center where plastic surgeons should perform immediate reconstruction surgery and to give life support.
