Day-to-day hearing in Ayodhya case likely in SC for early construction of Ram Mandir.

Supreme Court  To Hear Next Week Swamy’s Plea For Day To Day Hearing For Ayodhya Matters.

Rahul Devgan | HENB | New Delhi | Nov 18, 2016:: The Supreme Court today agreed to hear next week BJP leader and Rajya Sabha (upper house of Indian parliament) Member  Dr. Subramanian Swamy’s plea as to why Ayodhya temple dispute matters should be heard on a day-to-day basis.

A bench of Chief Justice T S Thakur and Justice A R Dave listed the plea of Swamy for next week after he sought an urgent hearing in the matter.

Swamy said that he has already been impleaded in the case relating to the Ayodhya dispute by the apex court and since the matter is pending for over five-and-a-half years, it should be heard on day-to-day basis.

The bench said that it would like to hear Swamy’s plea as to why a day-to-day hearing should be conducted.

On February 26, the apex court had allowed Swamy to intervene in the pending matters relating to the Ayodhya title dispute with his plea seeking construction of Ram temple at the site of demolished disputed structure.

The BJP leader had earlier moved the plea for a direction to allow construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya at the disputed site and had mentioned it before a bench headed by Chief Justice T S Thakur for urgent hearing.

In his petition, Swamy had claimed that under the practices prevalent in Islamic countries, a mosque could be shifted to any other place for public purposes like constructing road, whereas a temple once constructed cannot be touched.

He had also sought directions to expedite the disposal of several petitions challenging the Allahabad High Court verdict of three-way division of the disputed Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid site in Ayodhya on September 30, 2010.

In this connection of today’s development in Supreme Court, Dr Swamy conveyed the entire matter to PM Modi through a letter of request by seeking the personal intervention of PM to “direct the concerned Law Officers in this matter to support my prayer for listing the matter  for day to day hearing so that the matter (Ayodhya dispute pending in SC) is resolved judicially sometime by the middle of next year”.

It is learnt that Subramanian Swamy on many occasion has said that he had engaged in talks with all parties in the case including prominent members of the Muslim community to arrive an amicable solution of building Ram Mandir in Ayodhya at the same place and constructing a new mosque on the opposite side of the banks of Sarayu River.

The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) findings revealed that the Babri Masjid was constructed by demolishing the historic Ram Mandir. This historical truth was found by the committee headed by top ASI official K K Muhammed and in his book he detailed how Left historians tried to hushed up the fact. During P V Narasimha Rao’s regime, the Government has filed an affidavit that if ASI findings shows that if Masjid was build on destroying the Temple, government would be agreeable to the re-construction of the Ram Mandir at the same place. ASI’s excavations found 14 pillars of Ram Mandir at the disputed site and Babri Masjid was build on these temple pillars.

Tweeting this, “PVN Govt in an affidavit to SC in 1994 swore that Mandir will be built if proved mandir pre existed. ASI proved that”, Dr. Swamy attached his letter to PM Modi as below:
