Tulsi Sharma | HENB | Ayodhya | June 7, 2017:: On the occasion of Amrut Mahaotsava, the 79th birthday celebrations of Mahant Nritya Gopal Das at Mani Ram Das Chavni Peeth in Ayodhya, prominent Monks, Saints and seers of Hind Samaj converged into a “Virat Sant Subramanian” where BJP MP (Rajyasabha) Dr Subramnian Swamy was the chief guest and UP Deputy Chief Minister, Kesav Prasad Maurya attended the function as guest of honor.
The dais was fully dedicated for the planning of upcoming Ram Janmabhoomi Temple construction where saints from different orders unanimously resolved the seedy construction of Sri Ramjanmabhooi Temple without spoiling any time. Mahant Nritya Gopal Das is the chairman of Ramjanmabhoomi Trust, which was formed to make and monitor Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. Mahant Das is also a party to the ongoing Ayodhya case in Supreme Court.
Both, Uttar Pradesh Deputy chief minister Keshav Prasad Maurya and BJP leader Subramanian Swamy on Wednesday assured saints of a majestic temple at Lord Ram’s birthplace in Ayodhya. However, they had differing views on how to go about it.
Ram Mandir ideologue, Hindu think-tank and BJP MP Dr Swamy said, “There can be no solution of the Ram Janmabhoomi dispute through dialogue with Muslims.”
Swamy reposed full faith in the Supreme Court. “I am not disenchanted anyway by the Supreme Court. I have full faith in it,” he said.
Amidst ‘Jai Shri Ram’ and “Mandir wohin banayenge”, Swamy said: “Muslims who are party to the ongoing Ayodhya case in Supreme Court are afraid to enter into any out of court settlement on the issue.”
Addressing thousands of saints and Hindu audience, Swamy said: “In Supreme Court, Muslims will not be able to prove their point in favour of Babri Mosque.”
He also advocated day-to-day hearing of the Ayodhya case in the Supreme Court, but failed. He is ready to knock the door of Justice again in July. Swamy ended his speech with a promise the starting of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya by the next birthday of Nritya Gopal Das, i.e. June 2018.
But, Maurya advocated the dialogue process with Muslims to resolve the Ayodhya issue like chief minister Yogi Adityanath had recommended on May 31 at the same venue at the inaugural function of week-long birthday celebrations of Mahant Nritya Gopal Das.
“I know what you all want. I also want Ram Mandir at the Lord’s birthplace. As chief minister Yogi Adityanath has already pointed out, the issue will be resolved through dialogue and blessings of saints,” said Maurya.
UP Dy CM Maurya not only touched the feet of his guru, Mahant Das, but also of other seers present there when he went on stage to share the dais with monks, saints and seers of almost all the prominent Hindu schools including the Jains, Sikhs and Arya Samaj.
Former MP Ram Vilas Vedanti advocated a law in Parliament to pave way for construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi must convene a joint session of both houses of Parliament to formulate a law to pave way for construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya,” said Vedanti.
Former union minister of state for home, Swami Chinmayanand, Sadhvi Ritambhara, VHP leader Praveen Togadia, Madhya Pradesh minister Jai Bhan Singh Pawaiya, among others, also expressed their strong views for the construction of Ram Temple without any delay.
Shankaracharya Swami Vasudevanand, Baba Ramdev and Janmejay Sharan Maharaj among other saints were also present there.
But, eminent Kathakar (scriptural truth teller), Devkinandan Thakur cautioned PM Modi that ‘those who hatched a conspiracy against Ram to send him a forest exile for fourteen years, viz. Kaikeye and Manthara etc. always have been criticized by the people and people don’t give these names to their children. Common people again don’t want see their Ramlala anymore in a makeshift tent exile, outside his temple”.
“PM Modi reached to the post of Prime Minister by the blessings of Hindu saints and on a promise to build Ram Temple at Ayodhya. So, Modi must not forget that truth and must build Ram Temple without any delay above all political equations” told Devakinandan. “Hindus must cry for Ayodhya in such a way that Modi would compel to lay the foundation stone of Ram Temple with no other option”, he added.
Many of the speakers urged a mammoth Hindu congregation of Hindus in Delhi with a demand of early construction of Ayodhya Ram Temple so that Govt of India would enact a law or to take appropriate step for the same.
