Mirror Online | Mumbai | Dec 12, 2019:: Senior BJP leader and MP Subramanian Swamy on Thursday praised former ally Shiv Sena for its stand during the passing of the Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB) in Rajya Sabha.
On Wednesday, in a U-turn Sena staged a walkout ahead of voting, citing unsatisfactory response to the queries raised by the party.
Praising Sena, Swamy said, “It was good of Shiv Sena to stick with the Hindutva ideology in the matter of CAB. Shiv Sena did not vote against the CAB. Time to open a channel with SS and win them back. They can keep CM post (sic)”
He also slammed the congress party. “Congi in a soup. Some of their foreign-oriented leaders had met anti-Hindu Delhi-based Ambassadors and expressed confidence that the CAB will be defeated in Rajya Sabha. Now they are embarrassed. Even US Congress is looking stupid by their mouthpieces threatening Sanctions.”

Swamy’s statement mirrors what Maharashtra state BJP President Chandrakant Patil has also suggested.
“I don’t know much about it but the hope is there. BJP and Shiv Sena are natural friends. They are friends for 30 years, their blood and Hindutva is common. They should come together again, they should run government together, they should have run government together…this is hope but I don’t know whether it is going to happen or not,” Chandrakant Patil said.
The Rajya Sabha cleared the CAB with 125 voting in favour, while 105 opposed it after over eight hours of debate and discussion.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that he wants to assure Assamese people that no one can take away their rights.

Well done but to no effect
I wholeheartedly support the movement of ABVP
This is a common concern in almost all the states in India, as anti-Hindu, anti-Indian terrorist forces are very active…
