Upendra Bharti | HENB | Ambala (Haryana) | April 3, 2022:: Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) MLA from Ambala City Aseem Goel was seen in a video taking an oath to make India a (nation), which was administered by Hindutvawadi journalist Suresh Chavhanke of Sudarshan TV on Sunday.
As per the information, a seminar was organised by Samajik Chetna Sangathan on the topic of ‘Uniform Civil Code’ at Aggarwal Bhawan in Ambala City.
For this (Hindu Rashtra), if need be, we will give sacrifices and will take it too. At any cost, we will declare Hindustan a Hindu Rashtra.”
During the time when the pledge for Hindu Rashtra was being administered by Chavhanke, MLA Aseem Goel was standing on the stage facing the gathering accompanied by other speakers with his right-hand raised. In the video, MLA Aseem can be seen repeating the words administered by Chavhanke.
“We pledge and give a commitment to make Hindustan a Hindu Rashtra and to let it be a Hindu Rashtra,” Goel and others were seen saying in the video. “Hindustan ko Hindu Rashtra banane ke liye awashyakta padi toh hum balidaan denge, awaskhta padi toh lenge (If needed, we will make or take sacrifice for it). But we will declare the country a Hindu Rashtra (nation) at any cost. May our ancestors and deities give us the power to achieve our goal,” they further said in the video. The group concluded with chants of ‘Victory for Hindu Rashtra’.
Goel told PTI that he raised the slogans and took oath for the creation of Hindu Rashtra as a Hindu and not as an MLA of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party. “I am proud to be a Hindu,” he said, the news agency quoted. According to the report, he also took part in an event on Uniform Civil Code.
The purported video featuring the programme went viral in many social media platforms.
The demand of Hindu Rashtra (cultural, constitutional and sovereign) has been popularized by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti through its annual Hindu Rashtra Adhiveshan (conference) held every year in Goa since 2012. The slogan for Hindu Rashtra, “Jayatu Jayatu Hindu Rashtram” has also been popularized by HJS since then and accepted well by the Hindutvawadi of India throughout the country.
Hindutva interlocutor and Hindu Existence Website Editor, Upananda Brahmachari expressed his pleasure for the Ambala event for Hindu Rashtra and Uniform Civil Code. Taking his twitter handle Brahmachari wrote: “हिंदू राष्ट्र की शपथ-अंबाला। #HinduRashtra #एक_ही_सपना_हिन्दुराष्ट्र @SureshChavhanke – @SudarshanNewsTV youtu.be/QGpQNvcEXoo Great.
