Sucharita Rava | HENB | Cooch Behar | Dec 12, 2022:: The TET exam was completed in Cooch Behar district amid strict rules. But, married Hindu women and girls were allowed to enter the examination center following the guidelines that they could not enter the examination center wearing anything from nose studs or earrings or even Mangal Sutra. Such was the rule of almost every exam center in Cooch Behar. And mainly because of that reason, several candidates have to face obstacles to enter the examination centers in the district. But, Muslim female candidates were allowed to enter the examination centers wearing Burqa without any restrictions.
The female candidates were forced to enter the examination center by removing all those jewelry items. On the morning of the TET examination on Sunday, many of the candidates had to face such obstacles while entering the examination center of Gopalnagar MSS High School and other centers as reported. Due to this whole incident, anger spread between the candidates and the parents who brought them to the exam center. The Hindu examinees have to face a kind of extreme difficulty while removing all the jewelry they are wearing.
Such humiliation to demoralize the Hindu female candidates in any examination is unprecedented in the state of West Bengal so far.
It is not clear, under whose instruction Hindu girls and women during TET Exam were demoralized or why Hindu married women and girls were forced to remove their mangal Sutra, earrings, nose studs etc in many centers in Coochbehar, WB in such a manner.
Even such matter is not reported in the major main-stream media except News18 and Ei Samay.
This time, in the TET exam (2022) guidelines to prevent cheating, all-India exam style of the ban on jewelry and watches has been issued in the exam hall. Because of which such a great confusion was created. By jewelry, the Exam Board perhaps wanted to mean metal and expensive articles. But on this day, married women were prevented from entering the center of Dinhata with their Hindu sign of marriage as bangles made of conchs and corals including mangal Sutra as complained by Mithun Das, a resident of Alipurduar. Amal Mitra, a resident of Tufanganj, said the same thing. He claimed, “Manglik symbol was kept outside even she was not wearing any jewelry.
Agnimitra Paul, BJP MLA from Asansol South vehemently protested the humiliation of Hindu girls and women in TET exam 2022 in Cooch Behar.
As per Etv Bangla, one Hindu married woman in Jalpaiguri denied to remove her conch & coral bangles and she was not allowed to sit in TET Exam 2022 consequently. What is the WB Govt’s vendetta against Hindu candidates?
As per report of the Ei Samay, the same hazards were faced also by the married Hindu women candidates of TET exam in Kolkata in many centers including, Bagbazar Multipurpose School, Jadavpur Vidyapith, City College, Taki Boys and many others Centers situataed in Barasat of North 24 Parganas and Arambagh of Hoogly district.

Well done but to no effect
I wholeheartedly support the movement of ABVP
This is a common concern in almost all the states in India, as anti-Hindu, anti-Indian terrorist forces are very active…
